JVC lense cap problem.

The only thing I found seemed to be that if I pointed it straight at the sun or some other brigh light it then seemed to start working.  I haven't done it enough times to be sure that this always works but I assumed that somehow it needed enough bright light to trigger something.  Let me know if this, or anything else works for you.  Good luck with the baby, try to get some sleep.

GR-D60EK importing data from camera to computer

You need a cable. If your camcorder has a DV port you need a firewire port in the back of your computer as well as a firewire cable. If your computer has a USB port you need a USB cable.

You also need video capturing software to use it. Pinnacle Systems makes an easy to use system that work with your camcorder. Once the software is installed, the cable is plugged in and the camera is turned on, your computer will lauch Studio for you.

Charger

Radioshack.com is a good source for that answer. Usually they can tell you that by the batter number you are using.

Jvc gr-d50 dead

This worked for VHS camera once: If you know where or can find a heated de-humidifier try that (first). Or put it in an oven which has been warmed up and then turned off. Let the oven cool down to about 160F first. Take out the battery, tape and memory card. Leave it in for a couple of hours or until back to room temp. Make sure you don't forget it. Look for a re-set button inside the where the tape is inserted. Check you manual for its location. Then try it. If it works you're lucky.

Wont stop zooming

Have you cleaned the heads lately? Or the focus sensor. My previous advice for some one else is to clean the heads every 25 hrs of play. Buy a commercial tape cleaner. Try that first. If that doesn't help you may need to take it to a camera shop and have it cleaned and re-aligned because of normal usage after 2 years. Probably your best option.

No picture when recording, please help

Before you send it out to be fixed, when was the last time you cleaned the "heads"? I suggest you buy a "cleaning tape" first. Sony makes an excellent one. Follow the instructions that come with it. Takes 5-10 seconds. There are two methods in cleaning the heads, "Wet" and "Dry". Dry uses a small amount of special abrasive on a tape that is designed to remove and trap dirt and oils. Wet uses an alcohol solution to remove the dirt. you can use either. I prefer the wet because it is less damaging to the heads but it is also harder to do and takes more time and I have have a lot of patience. With the wet you can also clean the tape guides where you can't with the dry. For the general public use the dry tape system about every 25 hrs of recording or playback time. This should fix your problem. If it doesn't then you know you need to have it professionally cleaned and repaired.

Why won't my digital camera charge via USB anymore?

Take camera and its battery to a camera outlet, ask them to check the built-in rechargeable battery. Most outlets will help you with this, as its likely that if the battery has failed, you'll buy a replacement from the same dealer.

Not used my vid cam for a long time but when played back some tapes played great. The following day I tried playback on the tapes & they all showed a blue screen. No images What am I doing wrong?

not sure on this one but it might be the heads in your vid cam may need cleaning. or the tapes are not running straight on the heads or the rollers in side. if the vid cam has been in a cold place it can cause this fault as the heads may have a bit of damp. try putting a tape in and run it fast forword in play mode and see if starts to clear the playhead.if it does keep doing it until you see a clear picture. this could also be a head misalignment fault if it is you will have to take it to some one to have a look at. if any of the above does not work then you will have to take to some one to look at it. .
