Please go to camera menu and enable USB Streaming option.
Computer will recognize your camera while hooking up through USB cable

Go to Camera Menu and enable USB Streaming option. Your computer will recognize your camera.

You can check with Sony, but if I remember right you have to use the audio output separately from the camera through to the AUX or Line in on the sound board. You will have to go in to the setup of the sound card software to make sure that the video is coming from the USB port and at the same time it can come from the AUX or Line in on the sound card.

You are SOL, unless you invest more than your camera is worth for a TV standards converter!

To have the camera converted to the NTSC standard that we use over here, the cost would be much more than the standards converter and camera are worth together. Nobody would want to take on the project for you.

Another solution would be to bring a TV back from where the camera came from. But, with especialy a TV set there would be some complications with the electrical system over here.

The bottom line is to visit Futureshop and buy a camera that will work on our North American TV standard. But, don't bring the North American camera over to the Middle East. You will have the same problem, but in reverse.

Sony says that reload the cassette. If problem still exist, contact nearest Sony repair shop. Its basically "Supply Reel Signal/ Function Error".

I can play or record and it gives me the eject sign. At times it gives me the message 'cleaning casette'

It means that Hard Drive has no more capacity to save images or movie.So you need to free your camera space.Shift all the data on your computer and then use your camera.

Contact any display centre of SONY.Where you can easily buy accessories easily.

Your camera has problem of defective CCD Imager IC, and it will be available in nearest Sony repair shop.

Please got to Menu of your camera and enable USB Stream function.
Install driver software from Sony camcorder cd provided with camera package.
If you are using Windows XP, drivers will be installed automatically and you will see recorded movie in PC.

Your camcorder has dirty/clogged video head problem. Please use Video Head Cleaning Cassette Video-8 type to clean it. Hope problem will be solved.

Camcorder CCD-TRV138 has no sound problem in playback. There can be 02 reasons, One is the defective speaker bultin camcorder or 2nd is defective IC801, (Audio-Video Processor AN12985A-VB). In both cases you sould go to nearest Sony service shop to fix this problem.

You didnt write camera model and make. any how, you need Head Cleaning Cassette for your camera to clean its video heads. Video heads are dirty/ clogged so camera doesnt show picture in playback. Please dont touch video heads physicaly because it may broken easily. always use video head cleaning cassette.
