Likom Futura LD7 17" CRT Monitor - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
USB nightmare, okay frustratingly even
You should first ensure that the"fly lead" is connected between the monitor and the computer otherwise you wont see anything at all.
Not all monitors have USB ports and the implementation is not always the best.
I would start by formatting a usb drive and ensure it is formatted to FAT or FAT 32 (most offer that in the drop down format menu) do the format on a known computer not monitor.
Once done plug that into the monitor to see if it shows.
If not come back and give any additional information to this post.
Again check you have the fly lead in first.

Lost sound from LIkom HD17a LCD monitor
It was stupid, the volume on the monitor had been turned all the way down. I checked to make sure it wasn't muted but never checked the volume level. Thanks anyway.

There may wrong setting of refresh rate. Most monitors work at 60 to 70 Hz refresh rate. Above that they tunned blank screen or out 0f range message displayed. Also check the output video signal. Please confirm technical specifications from the documentatation of the monitor.

Hi,to me it would seem real strange that TWO monitors would fault simultaniously. I would be more inclined to believe that it is the Video card itself... The ONLY way to find out is try a replacement and see... try the monitor(s) on another PC see if they work.... if they do then it's ya card 4 sure.. if it's still the same well then it IS ya Monitors good luck.
How do i find a manual or the secret menu?
I don't think a monitor setting is causing Windows to not appear.
Here's some tricks I would try...
1. Verify the monitor's power cord is plugged firmly into the wall outlet and the back of the monitor.
2. Verify the monitor cable is firmly connected to the computer and the monitor.
3. Verify that you have turned the monitor power switch on.
4. If the power light on the monitor is not on, test the wall outlet (plug in a light or something you know works).
5. If the power light on the monitor is not on, try a different power cord.
6. If the power light is on and yellow or orange or flashing, but nothing displays, or the display is incorrect, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor probably needs replaced.
7. Also, you could try your display on a friend's computer. If it doesn't work, your monitor probably needs replaced. If it works properly on your friends computer, the problem may be with your computers video output port, motherboard video chip (or video card, if you have one), or drivers.
Good luck.

My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?
If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
employment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut.
They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
