Hi my fridge is warm and there is a build up of

Hot compressor is one of 2 things, Flat charge or the system is plugged up keeping refrigerant from moving. Or the compressor is shot.If the compressor is staying off for a long time, after running more then likely it has thermal over load protection built in to it (Basically kills power to the compressor, after the compressor reach a certain temp), contact a appliance repairman I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/robert_54ae41aaaffbab00

Rla50 fridge ices up

You may have the settings incorrect. I would try the middle setting to set if that would be better. Here is the manual:http://kitchen.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/hotpoint/rla50.html?idRes=599970

WATER SPLASHING IN FREEZER AT ICEMAKER
THE FILL TUBE IN BACK OF REFRIGERATOR CAN SLIP
AGAINST THE FILL RESERVOIR CAUSING A PARTIAL BLOCKAGE
OR BECOME CLOGGED WITH ICE.
REMOVE THE ICEMAKER AND INSPECT THE FILL TUBE.
RUN WATER IN TUBE TO ELININATE BLOCKAGE AND CHECK
TEMP IN FREEZER. IF TEMP IS BELOW 0 DEGREES, THATS
OVERKILL AND USUALLY A WASTE OF ELECTRICITY TO KEEP IT THAT COLD, NOT TO MENTION THE FILL TUBE FREEZING UP

The compressor is running and the fan is running

On the refrigerator and after sometime hold the condenser to see if it is hot, if it doesn't become hot then there is no refrigerant in the system there must be a leakage somewhere or it could be the compressor which is losing compression or doesn't pump well.

Fridge freezing up

Check the fridge sensor. On my Hoover HNMF2805AL80 f/f, first I replaced control module - still freezing.
Have just replaced cheap fridge temperature sensor. Part No. 97061619. Trouble is you have to cut into insulation at back of fridge to replace. I just plugged in sensor & placed inside fridge at back at the bottom - so far so good, only lettuce freezing now, everything else v. cold but not frozen. :)

Black tray above compressor is filling up with water on a RLA50

hi there.the tube your speaking about comes from the rear of the fridge down to the plactic tray on top of the compressor...and is used for conveying condensed water from the fridge to the dri tray where it is evaporated by the running heat of the comressor....excessive water can be caused by a faulty fridge door seal....door not closing correctly...and the possibility that your fridge setting is to low....or sited close to a working radiator

Water appearing regularly on the floor and under the salad bin

If I interpret this right you just don't know why the water keep appearing. The temp. doesn't have anything to do with it.

Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.
And in case your's is stopped up...

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

THE REFRIGERATOR FREEZER DOOR STAYS SHUT BUT THERE

there is some thing wrong whit your door gasket, check your door gasket all around and see if is seal properly, if is broken there is places than custom make fridge gaskets. if by any chance you tuck your doors a part, may be than you dint properly adjust the door or you are missing a shim if so.
use some coins to adjust the hinges. buy placing in between the fridge body and the hinge.
place a piece of paper on the fridge and close the door it shut hold the paper all the way around the door.
Good luck :)

Where is the filter located for the ice and water for the Hotpoint CSX24GR side by side Refrigerator? And what is the part number so I can order the part? Thank you!

It looks like your model doesn't have an internal filter. Not all of them do, and if you want to filter the water you add an external unit fixed to the wall. https://www.google.com/search?q=Hotpoint+CSX24GR+replace+filter There is a number of models that start CSX24 this is the 24X and says it is an optional extra. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/690660/Hotpoint-Csx24x.html?page=12&term=Water+Filter&selected=1#manual ..

Problem with drawer configuration. I have a Hotpoint Freezer. Model FZA84.

Does the problem move with the drawer when you shuffled them or did it do the same thing in the same position? If it moved it's the drawer causing the issue, if it stayed in the same place it's the freezer itself. Empty the offending drawer and have a good look at it. A lot of front panels on freezer drawers are a 'push on' fit so check the front is clipped on correctly on both sides. Next check the runner rails and back panel of the area that drawer goes into. It might be something as simple as a lump of ice or something stuck to the side/back or a something in the drawer above or below blocking it.
