My fridge RLA50 is freezing some of my food and ice is building up on back wall. It seems to be working ok set it on lowest temperature, but no made any difference

Hot compressor is one of 2 things, Flat charge or the system is plugged up keeping refrigerant from moving. Or the compressor is shot.
If the compressor is staying off for a long time, after running more then likely it has thermal over load protection built in to it (Basically kills power to the compressor, after the compressor reach a certain temp), contact a appliance repairman

Fridge freezing up

Check the fridge sensor. On my Hoover HNMF2805AL80 f/f, first I replaced control module - still freezing.
Have just replaced cheap fridge temperature sensor. Part No. 97061619. Trouble is you have to cut into insulation at back of fridge to replace. I just plugged in sensor & placed inside fridge at back at the bottom - so far so good, only lettuce freezing now, everything else v. cold but not frozen. :)

Rla50 fridge ices up

You may have the settings incorrect. I would try the middle setting to set if that would be better. Here is the manual:

FREEZER FAN MOTOR MAY NEED REPLACED. THE EASIEST WAY IS TO TAKE OFF THE BACK PANEL IN FREEZER AND REMOVE THE FAN
MOTOR, TAKE IT TO THE NEAREST APPLIANCE PARTS STORE WITH YOUR MODEL NO.
EASY JOB.
