LG Flatron L1951S-SN 19" LCD Flat Panel Monitor - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Hello, today i unluged my
That's probably a message from the monitor because it's not getting a signal from the computer. Look at the VGA cord where it plugs into the computer, or the monitor to see if you bent pins when reinserting the plug.

How i can open my
In LG w1943sb monitor, screw is not used. .In this type 'press-lock' of cover is used. Did you have opened IR remote control, most remote control also used as this monitor's lock, and you can open with a flat screw driver.

Computer is in analog power
This is most likely due to the computer itself is not functioning in and this is the typical reaction of a monitor that is powered on and not receiving a signal from the computer. What is the state of the PC when you turn it on? Any lights, fans do you get picture at all on the monitor before the power saver mode kicks in?
Most likely scenarios
- Video card is bad on the computer
- Power supply is bad on the computer
- Motherboard is bad on the computer
P.S. Even if you have lights and fans working on the computer one of these three parts can still be bad. You can rule out the monitor by plugging it into your laptop and toggling the display (generally done by pressing the FN key and F7 or whichever F key has a screen icon on it)
Comment back for further troubleshooting. Thanks!

When i on my pc
I would say that it doesn't see any signal coming from the computer. Check your output. Check the video drivers. Try another video display.

I Switch the monitor on,
Power board capacitors failing, what you are getting is the inability of the capcitors to hold the charge necessary to power the inverter to fire up the screen, means investigating and replacing the faulty ones

Does it do the same with another PC? If it does, then It may have unstable DC due to bad DC filter caps in the power supply.
If you are going to DIY and already try the monitor with another PC, and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed LG monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.
