I can't pit CD plate in player

Assuming your player is Pioneer VSX-902 receiver's CD player, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Verify the correct placement: Make sure you're aligning the CD properly with the CD tray. The label side of the CD should be facing up, and the CD should sit flat on the tray. Some CD players may have specific guides or markings to indicate the correct placement.
  2. Check for any obstructions: Inspect the CD tray and the surrounding area for any debris, dust, or foreign objects that might be obstructing the tray from fully opening or closing. Gently clean the tray and the CD player's surface using a soft, lint-free cloth.
  3. Press the eject button: Before attempting to insert a CD, press the eject button on the CD player to fully open the tray. If the tray doesn't open, there may be a mechanical issue with the CD player that requires professional attention.
  4. Power cycle the receiver: If the CD tray is stuck or unresponsive, try power cycling the receiver. Turn off the receiver, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This may reset the CD player and resolve any temporary issues.
  5. Contact Pioneer customer support: If you've tried the above steps and still can't insert a CD into the player, it's best to contact Pioneer customer support or consult a professional technician. They will be able to provide specific guidance for your model and help troubleshoot or repair any underlying issues with the CD player mechanism.
It's important to exercise caution when attempting any repairs or troubleshooting steps with electronic devices. If you're unsure or uncomfortable with performing these steps yourself, it's recommended to seek professional assistance to avoid any potential damage to the equipment.

I just installed a brand new VR-1032XB and on first start up I got a white screen.

If you have just installed a brand new VR-1032XB and are experiencing a white screen on first start-up, there are a few potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the connections: Ensure that all cables and connections between the VR-1032XB and your display device (e.g., monitor, TV) are secure and properly connected. Make sure you have connected the appropriate video output from the VR-1032XB to the corresponding input on your display device.
  2. Check the display settings: It is possible that the VR-1032XB is outputting a resolution or refresh rate that is not compatible with your display device. Try accessing the display settings on the VR-1032XB and adjusting the resolution or refresh rate to see if it resolves the white screen issue. Refer to the user manual or manufacturer's documentation for instructions on accessing and changing display settings.
  3. Restart the VR-1032XB: Try powering off the VR-1032XB and then turning it back on again. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary display issues.
  4. Test with a different display device: Connect the VR-1032XB to a different display device (if available) to see if the white screen issue persists. This will help determine if the problem lies with the VR-1032XB or the original display device.
  5. Contact customer support: If none of the above steps resolve the white screen issue, it is recommended to contact the customer support of the VR-1032XB manufacturer. They can provide further assistance, troubleshooting guidance, or advise on any potential hardware defects or software issues.

I have a 5 wire self lock function twist throttle. I need help connecting the wires to my controller

  1. Red wire (5V): Connect the red wire from the throttle to the 5V or +5V output on your controller. This wire provides the 5-volt power supply for the throttle.
  2. White wire (Output): Connect the white wire from the throttle to the throttle signal input on your controller. This wire carries the throttle position signal and communicates the speed or power level to the controller.
  3. Black wire (Negative): Connect the black wire from the throttle to the negative or ground terminal on your controller. This wire completes the circuit and provides the ground connection.
  4. Green wire (Battery positive): Connect the green wire from the throttle to the positive terminal of your battery. This wire provides the positive power supply for the throttle.
  5. Yellow wire (Switch): The yellow wire is typically used as a switch wire for the self-lock function. Depending on your specific controller and setup, you may need to connect this wire to the designated switch input or function on your controller. Consult the documentation or instructions provided with your controller for proper connection of the switch wire.

Dvd powered up then will not again

Yes, it is possible for off and on switches to go bad over time. This can apply to the power switch of the DVD player in your 2005 Ford Freestyle as well. Over time, the switch may become worn out, develop loose connections, or experience internal damage, which can result in a malfunctioning or non-responsive switch.

I went to play a CD and it came up on the radio screen reset.I took the faceplate off and pushed the reset button but CD player would still not play, what should I do ?

If you have already tried resetting the Alpine INE-S920HD head unit by pressing the reset button and the CD player is still not functioning, here are a few additional steps you can take:
  1. Check the CD: Ensure that the CD you are trying to play is in good condition and free from scratches or damage. Try playing a different CD to see if the issue persists. If the problem occurs with multiple CDs, it indicates a potential issue with the CD player itself.
  2. Clean the CD player: Dust or dirt on the lens of the CD player can cause playback issues. Try using a CD lens cleaner to clean the lens of the CD player. Follow the instructions provided with the CD lens cleaner carefully.
  3. Verify the disc format: Make sure the CD you are trying to play is in a compatible format supported by the Alpine INE-S920HD head unit. Refer to the user manual for the supported disc formats.
  4. Update firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your Alpine head unit. Visit the Alpine website or contact their customer support for information on how to update the firmware. Updating the firmware may resolve any software-related issues that could be causing the CD player malfunction.
  5. Seek professional assistance: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it's recommended to seek assistance from a professional car audio technician or contact Alpine customer support directly. They have the expertise to diagnose and resolve any complex issues with the CD player or head unit.
Remember to handle CDs with care, avoid using CDs with scratches or damage, and ensure the head unit is compatible with the disc format you are using.

Can i run my kicker1000.1zx to thisntx7912 sub

Yes, you can run a Kicker 1000.1ZX amplifier to power the NTX7912 subwoofer. The Kicker 1000.1ZX amplifier is a monoblock amplifier capable of delivering 1000 watts RMS power at a 2-ohm impedance. The NTX7912 subwoofer is a 12-inch subwoofer rated for handling up to 750 watts RMS power. Since the Kicker amplifier can provide more power than the subwoofer's RMS rating, you will have sufficient power to drive the subwoofer. However, it's essential to set the gain properly on the amplifier to prevent overpowering and potentially damaging the subwoofer.

I have a 2008 Audi A3. I have installed an aftermarket radio but the rear speakers and built subwoofer won't come on.

In modern cars, the Body Control Module (BCM) runs the radio and communicates on the computer bus network. It gets confused when you put another radio in it. I have two amps in my trunk but only one is working. I tested the fuse and the wires seem to be pretty solid too. I was wondering if anyone has insights on what the issue is?

Question edited for clarity, wrong type of 'to', 'two', 'too'. Question moved to Car Amps category. It sounds like is has failed electronically Swap the amps over physically. Take the one for the subs and put it on the other speakers and and put the working amp on the subs. If that makes the subs work, you take the failed amp for repair of buy a new one that will damage your hearing by the time you are 35. I am 70 and have tinnitus from listening to loud music in my 20s!
