I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS CAMCORDER, WHEN I CONNECT TO VIDEO INPUT OF MODERN DVD RECORDER TO RECORD FROM 8 mm T6APE TO DVD DISC THE PICTURE THOSE NOT SHOW PROPERLY IT SHOWS QUARTER OF THE PICTURE . WHEN I CONNECT DIRECT TO TV COLOUR TO PICTURE SHOWS IN ALL SCREEN, CAN YOU SUDJEST SOMETHING FOR THIS PROBLEM?

You have to convert it through a digital player. I'm using my husbands Archos media player. I've hooked the camera to the recorder. My only issue it the recorder is not saving the files. You should be able to do the same thing with any handheld video device that connects to your computer for up/downloads.

It is a very rare camera. You may be able to find the PC Connect cable for your Sharp Camcorder Model VL-SD2OU at an electronics store or online retailer that specializes in video and camera equipment. You can also try contacting Sharp directly to see if they have the cable in stock or if they can suggest a retailer that carries it. Alternatively, you may be able to use a generic USB cable to connect your camcorder to your computer, depending on the capabilities of your camcorder and computer. Keep in mind that you may need to install any necessary software or drivers on your computer before you will be able to access the video files on your camcorder

You may find that one or more of the electronic components within the camcorder are no longer viable. Given its age, it is probably not worth fixing - replace it with a more up-to-date model.
