First, try to find a tech specialty store within your town. The best way to do this would be to look on Google and search for them. Next, if you cannot find a small tech specialty store, try going to a bigger store like Best Buy and taking it in for the Geek Squad center to look at. They may be able to help. Another good bet is to go to Radioshack. They have been very helpful in the past for my random technical issues, so I am hopeful they will be able to help you as well. If all else fails, try sending it back to the manufacturer and getting a refund/replacement.

Good day!

You can use a USB Cable to connect to Computer,let the computer detected the Camcorder and install it..then you will know after it installed in the computer.

E04 - Battery in Safeguard mode.

The most common problem with this kind of model. there actually no fix for this problem. Unless of course your a jvc technician and can manage to open and clean all the sensor inside.

Have you tried to most popular solution for that.. tapping a little bit on the side of that camera. lol.

Look closely with the memory card, make sure it is inserted properly. push it a little more.

You may need to remove the battery from the battery pack and then reinsert again before turning it on. Doing it a few times may help solve the problem.

I do suggest you remove the battery when not in use. Leaving the battery inside is the usual cause for having the E04 when turning it on.

The micro sd card goes into a card slot located on the top of the camera under a little rubber door, and the memory card will only fit in it one way.
