press the menu button, it us usually on the lower part of the bezel. look for left/right arrows and the buttons that correspond to them. those are the ones that will move the screen left and right. once the screen is where you want it, press the menu button again or just leave it and it should time out in about 15 seconds or so.

Only one person is supposed to know your password. If you forgot it, when logging in, on that page is a button, forgot password or something like that.
