Changing color of screen
when I had a loose connection of the wire to the computer,the screen changed color. check the connections and the wire

You have to find 2 holes at the top of the plastic cover (at the front edge of the back cover) of this monitor and place a flat blade screwdriver in them and gently press to unlock the cover.
I am having a old
look dear ,,your monitor is not compatible to the video output of your web cam,,,,so you have either have to replace the monitor or your web cam...but problem is that if monitor is very aged then you won't get cam compatible with it...

If you tested that to another working CPU but the same problem before, i think that monitor has a problem in horizontal section, check the B+ atlaest 175v if is it normal the power supply is ok, check the H.O.T horizontal output transistor, remove or hang the 3 pins then power on the monitor, if the led did not blinking the H.O.T has fault may be leak,open or shorted.
I have colour issue with
I think this problem might be VGA cable or colour IC of the monitor,so please if you can change these two things ,so very well, other wise you will go to the service center.

Open cover of Samsung Samtron monitor
remove two screws on lowerback of the monitor. Loosen the case at the botton and on the top. Two holes will appear on the top. With thin screwdriver push down inserting the screwdriver into this notch.This will release the case. Tks
Problem with Control Panel
It sounds like theres a front panel button that has become intermittant and making contact all by itself. Sometimes when you clean the screen, the cleaner will drip down between the crt face aqnd the cabinet and make the switch in front go bad. Im not sure if this is the case in your problem but its a start. If you didnt spill anything or drip anything into the front panel then your maicroprocessor could be causeing the problem, or the 5 volts that feed the micro could be noisy ie, bad filter capacitor in the power supply. Now as im sure your aware of the hi voltage inside these sets? Its best if you dont have the training to get a pro to assist you as this hi voltage can hang around inside the set even if its unplugged. Good Luck

1 - Red
2 - Green
3 - Blue
4 - NC
5 - DDC Return
6 - GND (R)
7 - GND (G)
8 - GND (B)
9 - NC
10 - GND-Sync/Self raster
11 - NC
12 - DDC Data
13 - H-Sync
14 - V-Sync
15 - DDC Clock
The wire colours in the actual cable are:
Red (foil wrapped with 1 bare ground wire)
Green (foil wrapped with 1 bare ground wire)
Blue (foil wrapped with 1 bare ground wire)
Transparent (foil wrapped with 1 bare ground wire)
All the above go to the corresponding Gun Color, the Bare wire goes the one GND pin.
Purple
Yellow
Black
Orange
White
Bare braided outer ground wire. Combine ALL earths to a single point.

Yellow &green colour patch at
remove any magnetic device(speaker etc.) if near to your monitor...
if problem persists get it repaired....in it a device called PTC will be faulty...

Well for Sumsung with a 3% failure rate is unusual, I would try and reset to factory settings if that does not work, They have a pretty good waranty on them seeing they never break down. average is 3yr.
