Hello,Flashing display and no picture is a very common symptom of bad capacitors on the power supply board. If you can do a little soldering then you can repair the power supply board yourself. Hello, Typicaly the VGA (analog) very common on older monitors, White DVI (digital) comon 2008 (depending on cost), currenty top of hte line monitors may have a Display port and or HDMI. Hope this is usefull.J
Hello,The Samsung 731N monitors use the ILPI-013 power supply board. The capacitors on this board can cause the issues you are having when they start to fail.
