I have no picture when I turn on the monitor

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electical extensions

even something as small as an electrical fan and its lead can cause you problems or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs all electrical power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket

if you remove your graphics check the socket to make sure its dust free

restart your computer then reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard

hope this helps you

Monitor has unplugged from pc-which

There is only one place on the computer where a monitor will fit.
The exception is if you have an add-on video card. In this case, don't plug the monitor in the connector next to all the other wires. There will be a separate connector lower down on the computer case. Use that one.

I have a old CRT

Well, if the adjustment buttons don't work, then probably the control unit in the monitor is broken, or a key is stuck. If the control unit needs servicing, I doubt if it's feasible to have it repaired, given the fact that it's an old monitor and new or used nice slim LCD monitors can be purchased cheaply nowadays.

Model 2200W product PL2230WDB ser#

If a monitor won't turn on, the problem can usually be traced to the power supply. Check if the fuse is blown or if the capacitors have bulged and failed. Failed capacitors are the most common problem with LCD monitors. If any of the capacitors are blown, would recomend that they all be replaced and that usually get it going again. There is a company that sells replacement capacitors for any monitor. http://www.lcdalternatives.com/ Hope this helps you.

Monitor displays blue box 'no

Check all connections, cable is hopefully good. Then go into maybe the video card is either faulty or that maybe the monitor you want to use cant use a setting that the PC is trying to use (1280x1024 from the pc where the monitor can only go 800x600 for example) also check the Hz rating and make sure that the computers on the lowest Hz setting. Maybe the monitor can't handle the Hz the computer wants to use.
Assuming your in windows... and have no other means of getting to the settings try booting the system.. as soon as it 'beep's tap the F8 key several times and you should be able to get into the safe mode option. after you get in there get into the video settings and try to adjust the resolution and save it. after that you can reboot and it should come up as what you saved.. then you can tinker with the setting to figure out what the monitor can do. Next time try to give a model number and maker of the monitor. :)

It's a problem that takes a qualified technician to repair.

Take a look at:

for several "TV repair" listings in your city.
