Problem with memory stick micro m2
is the card being read on the other device like camera/mobile etc.
if yes than card is okay
its the pc which is not compatible with your card. in this case u cannot do much but buy a card reader costing 5 usd
I have a mini sd
The best way to solve this would be to try to format it using a PC with the appropriate card reader. Then, if the format is not exactly that which the phone desires, try to reformat with the phone again.
If it fails again using the phone (which it shouldn't), you should contact the manufacturer as it is an obvious hardware issue.
Thanks for rating FixYa!
Camera card not holding pics
Van D UK is right. It seems suspiciously like a memory card corruption problem - maybe caused by the combination of the red battery light coming on and the act of taking the picture.
If you remove the scandisk card (camera off) and use a card reader to view the contents on a computer, you maybe can see if the file structure on the scandisk makes sense.
Presumably you have the camera user manual. This might help.
There might be some info about how to set up a new scandisk card. You might be able to rescue all the photos you have already on the existing scandisk card. I suggest you rescue them as a priority if you can. I suggest too that, in future, you download as a matter of habit all your photos (regardless) onto a computer. Having rescued as much as you can you can either re-format the existing scandisk card using the camera (if you can) or buy yourself another scandisk card.
I have had similar problems with my Sony camera and card. Try and get the correct card for your camera. I got some cards simlar to a Sony card but in the end I could only use one of them in the camera. The other had to do duty as file storers/transferers.
Locked sandisk!!!
if the computer can detect it. then try to reformat, however all the files will be deleted afterwards.
Sandisk Memory Card
I have never heard of any differences in OS's based on language versions, but if all else fails, I would do a link up of data cable between camera and the computer. Hope this helps...
Cant get samsung sc-d353 to format 2gig pro duo and adaptor
Try uninstalling your software program from the add and remove programs in your control panel and then reinstall the software again, some time you may have had a interuption well installing, or it could be a corrupt file. hope this works for you
How do i do this
Too little info, but I'll give it a shot... Assuming that the adapter thing is a USB adapter ( not a mini-sd to sd adapter ) you need to install media into adapter and plug into the available usb port on side of laptop. Depending on age of laptop, there may even be a media card slot ont the side of the laptop, and the adapter may not be necessary. Any how, after the device is inserted into the laptop, the OS should recognize the device, install any needed drivers, and should be good to go. Next open up "my computer" and click(double click) on the device and it should open up. Open up the folders until the desired picture files are located, then just copy and paste to the folder you want to save in. ( if you can't find, do a search for "pictures" on that drive )
Formatting PSP mem. card
This depends on exactly which problems you are having with formatting, and which operating system you are using to format it.
If you are using windows XP, then after plugging the stick into a port/reader, a message should come up saying "new hardware detected" and then windows should check through the generic drivers and recognise the stick. Then go to "my computer", right click on the stick and choose "format". It will probably give you a couple of format options, most likely to appear are "FAT 32" or just "FAT" - select FAT 32 if it is there and it should work, if not try the other option.
If you still can't format properly, then there may be a problem with your memory stick, they are prone to failure for many different reasons.
If you do not have windows XP then the process should be similar but probably not identical.
Hope this helps, please post again if not :)
Formatting sandisk 2gb
when you insert a disk in drive windows automatically ask you to format a drive ok to proceed.
SanDisk memory media problem
It depends on what sort of phone you have, but you probably need to go to settings & select "save to SD card" or "save to external" in your camera/image settings.
Phone restarts
may be your phone doesnot support the size of the memory card.
did you check the other cards?
if it does the same then format the card using card reader and then insert it.
