What kind of detergent do you use and how to
You can use almost any type of detergents, preferably 'Automatics' which are specially designed for washing machines. The operation logic is simple and is well explained in the user's manual.
My Malber wd 1000 makes noise when turn it on.
i'm assuming the noise is mechanical in nature so if it is, it could be anything from loose belts, gears, bad bearing in the motor....slipping agitator mounted to it's support shaft.....etc....it's difficult to say hear because that description is so generalized...it could be anything........i cannot give you a more direct answer based on that description but good luck
My drain hose has been cut off, almost at the
Try and remove the broken section from the pump then reverse the pipe around and attach it from the other side. If it does not fit correctly, order new one as there is no other way. Those pipes just leak continuously when repaired
My Malber WD1000 over floas and does not dry = can
First off, I have found that my machine gets clothes 90% dry (or 75%). Also, when I first installed mine, I did not properly drain it. The drain hose you notice comes out the bottom of the machine, goes up to the top and then goes back down again. I had to take the hose from there back up again to create a trap that held the water so it did not flow back into the machine. (I figured this out by disconnecting the hose entirely and letting the water run onto the ground.
Hope this helps.
The machine fills with water during drying cycle
First, did you know that this machine steam dries clothes? The first thing it does on the dry cycle is to wet the clothes which it then heats to dry with condensation. There are better answers regarding this feature on fixya. But assuming that the dry cycle is working as well as it ever does, it appears that your wash cycle is not functioning properly. I would need more info to figure out why it is not filling with water / working at all.
WD1000 has too much water
You are not hooked up to the drain properly. If you do not create a trap the water will drain back into the machine. The drain tube goes from the bottom of the machine up to the top and then back to the bottom. You need to run the drain tube up to a final drain or other trap. You can even create another mini trap by making a loop before running into the drain. Whatever you do just try to get the hose to go about as high as the highest point at the back of the machine, but not higher, as it will create a siphon and flood the machine.
The wash cycle does NOT start; we've selected a
It doesn't pump or spin
If it doesn't
pump water out or spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as
follows:
If the motor is
running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt.
To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the
pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace
it. If the pump belt is broken or looks quite worn, replace it--but be sure to
check the pump pulley before you change the belt.
If the motor
isn't running, the lid switch may be defective. If so, the washing machine
can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing
machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the
top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective,
you need to replace it.
It pumps, but
doesn't spin
If your washer
pumps out the water but doesn't spin, check these:
The lid switch

inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to
raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If
it's defective, you need to replace it.
The motor coupler
may be broken. Many Whirlpool®-manufactured washers use a small, relatively
inexpensive motor coupling. It's plastic and rubber and is mounted to the shaft
of the motor on one side, and to the transmission on the other. Over time, the
coupler wears out and fails. You may need to replace it.
A belt may be
broken. Many washing machines have one or two belts. If a belt is broken or
badly worn, you need to replace it with a genuine belt from the manufacturer.
(Some washing machine belts are designed with special characteristics not found
in automotive belts.)
The clutch may
be worn. If your washer is a GE, it may use a clutch to come up to the proper
spin speed. As the clutch wears out, it may prevent the unit from spinning well
or at all. If the clutch is worn, you need to replace it. For this job, you
probably want to hire a qualified appliance repair technician.
The drive motor
may be defective. Many washer brands use a reversing motor. For agitation the
motor runs in one direction, for spinning and draining, the other. It's
possible for a motor to burn out in one direction and continue to operate in
the other. If this happens, you need to replace the entire motor.
The
transmission may not be shifting properly. Older washers produced by Whirlpool®
have a transmission with an electro-mechanical shifter. If the shifter becomes
even partially defective, the unit may drain the water but not spin. This is a
complex system, if your washer has a shifter problem, you may want to hire a
qualified appliance repair technician to repair it.
The spin
bearing or basket drive may be worn or seized. These components allow the inner
tub to spin freely inside the outer tub. When this is the problem, you usually
hear a loud sound during the spin cycle. Call a qualified appliance repair
technician.
It spins only
with the lid closed
For safety,
washing machines are made so that they spin only with the lid closed. The lid
switch prevents the spinning action when the lid is up.

Hello. Just turn off the water and then remove the fill hose which goes from the water faucet into the back of the machine. Examine the entire hose and pay closest attention to the filter located at the end of the hose nearest the faucet. regards, Joe

NO THIS UNIT USES CONDENSED DRYING AND WILL WET THE CLOTHES BEFORE IT EVEN TURNS ON THE HEATER. BASICALLY YOUR COMBO USES STEAM CIRCULATION THRU YOUR CLOTHES. AS THE SMALL WATER PARTICLES IN THE STEAM MOVE THRU YOUR CLOTHES IT COMBINES WITH SMALL WATER PARTICALS IN THE CLOTHES(THINK OF 2 WATER DROPS COMBINING ON YOUR WINDSHEILD AND HOW THEY ABSORB TOGETHER) WHICH RISE TO THE TOP OF THE TUB AND COLLECT INTO WATER AGAIN. THEY THEN ROLL DOWN THE SIDES OF THE TUB AND COLLECT AGAIN AT THE BOTTOM TO BE PUMPED OUT. BEFORE THIS PROCESS EVEN STARTS THE UNIT WILL ACTUALLY ADD WATER TO GENERATE THE STEAM. MOST PEOPLE FIND THAT IF THEY WANT TO JUST FRESHEN UP SOMETHING, IT WILL END UP DRENCHING WET IN THE FIRST FEW MINUTES.
I have a problem with
Is this a problem with a new part? or you are looking for a replacement part?
