Screen high contrast
if adjusting the contrast from the settings doesnt help then, I don't know maybe you should consult your dealer.
Boot screen
Find a way to reset. (manual)
Make sure its full charged too!
Activesync
Do you have it set up where the computer file always overrights the pocket pc files? If you do it would result in losing all information input on the PDA. Typically you would set it so that the last version overights the prior version. That way updates on the computer overight the PDA's old info and vice versa. The only time there is an issue is when both are updated before syncing, then you are prompted which to use.
That's the first think I'd check.
Using my iPAQ 6325 as a modem
only by bluetooth !!! Try to determine services on IPAQ by your-PC bluetooth device... You must to see the "dial-up modem service" --- select it and do a settings by provider...... that`s all !!
