the password can not be broken, but you can perform a hard reset that wipes the device clean including the password. all content is lost.

1. Press and hold the lower left and lower right buttons.

2. Press the Reset button on the bottom of the iPAQ Pocket PC
with the stylus.

3. Hold all buttons until the displayed image begins to fade
(approximately four seconds).

4. Release the program buttons and stylus.

You can verify a full reset by pressing the power button. If the
iPAQ Pocket PC has been fully reset, it will not turn on.

5. Reactivate the battery by doing one of the following:

Connecting the iPAQ Pocket PC to AC power

Pressing the Reset button with the stylus

try wrapping the cord around the pda

open it, remove 6 screw behind. remove rom batteries for a sec. and plug it on the same place. work . reset flash

where you able to perform the reset? if you wheren't then use a small pin or a needle to press the reset button.

if it sitll doesn't help you may have to perform a hard reset, it should fix the problem but you will lose all data stored in the memory, but everything on a storage card or safe storage / permanent storage will stay.

i have a 5450 , it will recognise and find my wifi but will not connect to it . any ideas , thanks in advance

he's the only person that knows the password, if he don't reply for you the password. Ask Ebay for the money back

recharge the battery by connecting the HP iPAQ to AC power using the cradle or the AC adapter to atleast 6 hrs continuously 

Had the same problem: the battery is simply exhausted. Suggest you buy a new battery. A possible solution you might try is to connect it to a charger and make a hard reset (loosing all data and programs stored). Good luck

When you charge up your iPaq, do you use the cradle, or do you use the AC-adapter with the little iPaq power converter that came with the iPaq? Try both, and see if it charges up your pda. Try and borrow an iPaq car-charger and see if it charges up that way (the ones that do not need the iPaq power converter). If you are lucky enough to power up the iPaq even for 2 minutes, enable USB fast charging in the SETTING -> BATTERY. Your USB-data-cable or cradle will then be able to charge it up that way...

Is it picking up a good IP address? Are the access points encrypted? You would need to set up the Wi-Fi on the PDA to the specifications of the WAP. if Internet Explorer is not loading, I suspect that there is a problem either with the image in ROM or else with the part of the RAM which is used to hold user data for Internet Explorer. Have you recently upgraded the ROM? The upgrade may not have worked properly perhaps. Maybe try a reflash of the ROM image. Do you get any error message or does the operating system go round in a loop and never come out?

try holding the stylus in the soft reset hole for about 5 seconds.
