I just bought a battery charger, plugged it in and
Hi there,
I suggest to you to buy a new battery for you HP iPAQ H4150 Pocket PC and see if that charger will charge it up. If the new battery does charge then the problem was with the old battery.
If it doesn't charge up on the new battery then, your problem lies with the battery charger. You should check that the voltage of the battery charger is compatible to charge the voltage of the battery.
Hope I have been of assistance to you,
Cheers :)

My iPAQ has basically stopped
Hello,
Sound like you may be having issues with both battery and some apps running. Try a soft reset to see if it correct this issue.
Make sure you have the iPAQ connected to the AC power and in its cradle. With the stylus, press lightly the Reset button on the side of the iPAQ. This will reset your unit without deleting any apps. It will cause any app running to stop and shut down. Once reset, you should be able to use your unit without further issues.
Just in case, you can do a full reset which will put your iPAQ back to default state. This will delete any information that is not stored on the iPAQ base storage file.
Press the power button and reset button at the same time. Release the power button first, then the reset button.. This will reset the unit and power on. Post your results.
Good Luck

Won't stay charged
you might need to replace:
A. the main Li-Ion battery
B. the backup Ni-methal battery.
or maybe C, fix your battery cover.
that's it! great device btw..!
Can't turn it on or off. it just loads and then
you might have a problem with you ROM image.
try downloading the rom image form hp.com and upload it (flash it) to your device using the RUU.exe file, activesync connection and a usb sync & charge cable.
Cheers,

IPAQ 5550 can I override the pin number?
Simple Solution:
Perform a hard reset and then attempt to login repeatedly (10x).
You will then be prompted if you wish to reset the pin entirely.
Good luck,
