Replacement Battery
PDA 2005 (as old as)
bad power supply ( weak)
bad battery charger chip inside.
this device has no value, really, why spend hard labor on such old tech? if compelled, buy 2 or 3 other dead 4360s ones, used off fleabay
to get one good one.
There is no PC made that will not fail.
consider this, if you had 2005 Toyoto car and the alternator went
bad , as all do about NOW. do you Boycott, Toyota.
nothing made by man lasts.
even earth is doomed, but not in 11 years.

How i will initialize my SIM card?Should i enter
Hi
Remove the battery from your phone. Slide off the back cover of your phone to get to the battery. Gently lift the battery from its compartment to remove.
Insert the SIM card into your phone. Once your battery is removed, insert the SIM card into your phone. Look at the image on the phone to see how to insert the SIM card correctly. Make sure it is pushed all the way into place.
Replace the battery and turn on the phone. Replace the battery back into its compartment and replace the back cover. Turn on your Nokia 2610 phone, and it should boot up. The name of your wireless provider will appear when your phone is turned on.
Allow time for your phone to read the SIM card. Once your phone is booted up, it will say initializing. This means that it is reading your SIM card information. Once your SIM card is read, your phone will go to the home screen. Your SIM card is now activated, and you should be able to access all of your information.
Please accept the solution if it's helpful. Do get back to us for any further query.

SMS Inbox Disappeared
Hello Brian,
The SMS folder dissapears most probably because another program interferes with it. The same happens on some HP's with camera, where this options dissapears from menu because of some user installed programs.
In your case, it doesn't have to be a SMS - messaging related program, there are some compatibility issues and programs that apparently doen't have anything to do with messaging are causing this.
You should first try a master reset (hard reset) (save your data first). However in some cases this doesn't help, even if the program that's causing the problem is removed, and you will need a firmware rewrite/update. In order to perform this, or if you don't want to risk performing it yourself please contact me on the live assistance for step by step instuctions.
Good luck, Bogdan.

I have replace my main
The backup battery is not user replaceable.
If you have some electronics experience you could open the device and replace it yourself but it involves cutting out the old battery and soldering in a replacement.
An easier solution is to take it to a phone repair shop and get a quote to replace the battery, probably around $ 60. They may even give you a 3 month warrantee.

IPAQ 6365 hard reset
I Also Had The Same Problem. Now I Fixed It. Go To Power In Settings. Click On The Advanced Tab. Uncheck The Box Which Says "Turn Off The Device If Not Used For" Box. This Will Solve The Problem. It Solved Mine. Thereafter Once, My Backlight Did Not Switch On. Fix This By Going Into Backlight Settings And Uncheck The Box Which Says "Turn Off The Backlight If Not Used For" Box. This Will Solve It. Then Soft Reset The Device To Change Settings. To Soft Reset, Find A Small Hole In The Left Hand Side Of The Device. Put Your Stylus In And PRESS ONLY ONCE. If You Keep It Pressed, Your Device Will Hard Reset. Don't Do That. Just Press ONCE.

How to unlock hp ipaq 6315
Not sure you still need a solution for this problem, but this may help someone else who is searching for the same solution.
You need an unlock code. Each unlock code is unique to each phone. You can search on Google or eBay and find a seller. I got one on eBay for $20. You have to provide the IEMI code from the phone. It's on a tag underneath the battery. They will use the IEMI code to get your unlock code and email you the code along with the instructions. Read the instructions all the way through before you start. I was able to do it the first time and it worked.

UNBLOCK
There is a code that is unique to your phone only. Search on eBay (ipaq 6315 unlock code) and buy the code for about $20. You will need to give them the IMEI number located behind the battery.

Random shutdown and hard reset
I had a similar problem and it turned out that there was a backup program called ´Sprite´ that was loading an image file of the system after every hour of use, erasing all changes to the configuration and saved data.
The folder of the ´Sprite´ program has a text file with the configuration data. I opened the text file and set autoexec. and similar options to ´false´ and saved the file again. After that, the problem had disappeared.

Joep

Pc doesnt see ipaq h6315
Turn off CPU, Unplug Power cable, And all usb devices, let it sit for
about 20mins. Plug it all back in. Turn on the CPU! Also make sure if
your device requires "DRIVERS" or if you have a CD download and install
that before anything.
