My casio calculator is giving answers always in fraction form. I need to get the answers in decimal form (my calculator is fx-991ES)

To convert a single answer from symbolic to decimal, press the S--D key (just above the DEL key). To have all answers come out in decimal format, press SHIFT MODE 2 to switch to the LineIO mode.

How to calculate parallel circuit in casio fx-991ES plus

Write your equations first, then try to use the calculator to solve the problem. If you don't know how to do it by hand, you won't be able to ask the calculator to do it for you.

Casio fx-991es plus upside down display

I would take it apart and see if they installed the display upside down. I wouldn't think the wires would be long enough to do this, but maybe that is the way it is laid out. Good luck. Paul

My casio FX 991ES is giving formula answers, to a calculation using a large exponent number in a formula answer, I need it to tell me a long number instead. Sum is 6.7 x 1018. The answer I get is 6.7x

Your answer is 6.7*10^18. That requires 19 places on the display: There are not enough places to write that. Besides, calculators are deigned to use Scientific Notation whenever the result to be displayed is too large or too small. If you enjoy writing zeros, convert by hand the scientific notation into what you call long number.
