Likely a stuck carburetor float or debris in the carburetor inlet needle valve. Remove carburetor bowl to clean and test the function of the float and needle valve.

Bad coil, or one of the safety switches are shutting the coil down. To test this before replacing the coil. Disconnect the small wire to the coil that is mounted with an electrical clip. This is the wire that kills the coil by grounding it. Try to start it now but be aware that you just disabled your off switch. If it starts you will only be able to turn it of by choking the carb, grounding your spark plug wire or pulling the plug wire off. Good luck.

Sounds like a fuel problem. Check fuel lines, fuel filter and carburettor are completely clean.

I don't think it has a hood switch. Some disassembly is likely required. There are some YouTube videos describing hood removal of some of the other models but not this one. You could view a few of those to see if they give you a clue, elsewise you may need the service manual unless a call to customer service offered a surprising response.
