I cannot locate my owners manual and have not used the Homelite Ranger 16 inch in quite some time --- What is the fuel and oil requirement??

Would bet it is 32:1 but many people now days are using a 50:1 mixture using a synthetic 2 cycle engine oil with 89 octane fuel even for 16:1 ratio. Claiming no carbon buildup and more power.????

I have a homelite chainsaw that when I pull the rope to start about half the time it appears to hang, my shoulder and arm are killing me.

Remove plug before trying to start pull a few times with plug out you may have quite a bit of fuel exhaust from spark hole then reinstall plug and try starting. Sometimes fuel runs into head above the piston (especially in hot weather) causing the piston trying to combust a liquid. If you leave fuel cap loose in hot weather it will help prevent this.

Possibly bad switch remove one of the wires to switch and try. If still no fire probably bad coil.

Please list your model number when posting and I might have found part number for you. Go to homelite.com service and support, find parts, parts locator, model # if you cannot find model number go to product line, homelite, then select generator, without model number you will have dozens of generators to look at.

Homelite Model D825sd starts on position 2,run for 5-10 seconds on 2 then 3, then stop. It will start again on 2, then the same thing.... I checked the exaust screen, and it's clear.... Help, pelase

Check fuel lines in tank make sure they are not broken or have hole in it. You will probably have to rebuild the carb. As you know you have fire and it will run with proper fuel.

I need any info on a 20 in homelite super xl automatic ut#10045c.such as year made, fuel mixture, how many cc'so it is. All information that I can get will be great

I bought up a lot of Homelite parts when dealer went out of business about 20 years ago and have had interest in them since. I have worked on a few super xl's but cannot tell you for sure the fuel mixture but believe it probably changes over the years from 16-1 to 20-1 saw on internet one person claimed that that ut number used 32-1. Don't believe it would make any difference as long as you used good grade 2 cycle oil and it would not smoke near as bad as 16-1. One person on internet claimed that he still had the saw his Dad bought new in 1967 or 68 so they have been around that long but at that time I do not believe they had a UT number on them. The cc is 57.4 and weighs 13.14 lbs. With 24" bar.

What is gas oil mixture for a Homelite 33 cc Ranger?

50:1--( 50 parts fuel to 1 part oil) Now you can buy a special oil from Stihl service agents that has a 50:1 formulation that will cover all mix ratios regardless of the engine make or ratio requirement saves having different tins for different ratios for different engines

Carb settings for Homelite weedeater ST-275

Set both the H and L for 1 1/2 turn out from bottom, start and adj. The H for max rpm for full throttle, now set the low for good idle and very little or no hesitation when opening throttle. Now set H for max rpm again and then back off until you get more of rumble at full throttle.

Hello. I Need to Fit a New Starter Cord to a Homelite Strimmer, Can You Give Start to Finish Instruction's. UT No is 20586, Ser No is HM2130442. Thank's, Mike.

Hopefully the website will translate. Remove throttle handle from shaft trying to keep all parts in one side and once removed place together and install a couple of screws, remove shaft from part no 42 by loosening screw no. 43, item 45 has either a allen head or star head screw in it will probably loosen ccw. Remove item 45, remove item 46 should be arrow to show which way to turn you will need to use copper or brass pin to hit with hammer to remove to prevent damage. Now remove item no. 41 and you are at the starter cord. You will now have to remove spool no 51 and notice how rope is wound if possible, remove old rope install new rope place spool back in place to where it catches spring as it should now wind in same direction as rope wound about 5 turns hold and run rope through eyelet of starter housing. Now install keeper 52 with screw 53.Sorry link did not work just go to link below and type in your ut no. then select homelite. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/homelite-hlt17c-ut205
