Looking for drivers for hp DeskJet820Cxi os
this particular printer never have driver for win2k, i would suggest downloading winnt4 driver or alternatively win95/98/me driver and bit fiddle with installation,
particulary winnt4 driver should work without much hitch on win2k.
your link on hp site is going nowhere as there never was a driver for this printer beyond winnt4...

Software required NOT DRIVER: HP Deskjet 820Cxi
LOL! Click on this link and look at all the drivers for all the operating systems. There is a reason that you have no software. This printer was designed for Win 95/98/ME. It's that old. Any future systems use the Windows driver for basic printing and there is no Control Center panel for W2000 and greater software.

IIRC, this printer is nothing special, and you can actually get a better printer for less than $60 and the local ChinaMart that has better interfacing and capabilities. In fact, you can get a printer/scanner/copier and upgrade your system.

Try cleaning the encoder strip. It is the clear strip that runs from left to right . It is above the steel rod. Be very carefull to not pull it off of the hooks on each end. It is very hard to get it back on. If that does not help, try holding down one or both of the buttons on the panel while plugging it in.

How to reset HP ink ADVANTAGE 3515 Printer
Hello. First of all I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
I recently bought a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3515 printer. The printer works fine (prints, scans and copies). There is only one problem with it. It returns me an error when I'm shutting it off. This happens very often but not always, it is kinda annoying. The error is displayed as: ERROR CODE 0X02B7C2ED SM_MODULE C (the error is also shown on the image). I tried to Google the problem but without effects. I don't know what could be the problem. Can someone help me please, because I have no idea what could be the issue. Thanks for any replays.
How do I fix an Hp deskjet 4615 not printing black?
If you are using a Windows PC, search for devices and printers. Once you find the printer, right click on it, go into printing preferences and you should find a tab in there that will all you to disable color.
If you want to be able to print in both and black will not print, make sure your black ink cartridge is not empty or that it is properly installed.

Check the paper size settings to match the loaded paper. This would happen (for example) if you have loaded A4 paper but your driver is set to print on letter format. Letter is wider than A4 by 6mm and while the printer is trying to print near to the right side, assuming the paper is wider, part of the ink goes on the paper support. Other reason may be the paper size in the document is set to be larger than the loaded paper format and driver prints only what can be fit on the loaded paper.
