Make sure your cartridges are installed correctly. And make sure the seal is taken off of the cartridges. Then make sure your printer drivers are up to date.
Paper jam
First when you see that first page come out like that...turn the printer off. You will need to re-install the printers drivers. (the CD that came with the printer)

The printer HP920c ink leaks
The Cleaning station is filled with ink AND the cartridge is broken, this can be caused by using a [poorly?] refilled cartridge.
To solve this you have to disassemble the printer and clean the cleaning station, replace the absorbent pad and replace the ink cartridge.
Printing out thepictures
Try printing the picture from another program. Or with less resolution.
If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the printer and downloading the latest drivers from the HP website.
HP DESKJET 920c won't print color
Sorry for the lack of sympathy but is it really that hard to find a friend or internet cafe with a color printer to print off your stuff if it's as critical as you say?
Clearly you have checked the default printing properties, you know the settings are correct. The test print is in color so the cartridges are good and the printer is capable.
Your only option left is to try the printer and drivers on another PC. This is the first step towards diagnosis of the cause of color print failure.
The color ink in my hp deskjet 920c won't work
try cleaning the contacts (bronze like) with dry cloth both the cartridge and the cartridge holder most of the times there exist some liquid forms on both areas.
since you frequently remove the cartridges; their might be a broken part on the cartridge holder. the broken part, use, is to make sure the cartridge is in absolute contact with the cartridge holder's. the size the said broken part is 2 mm in all sides. so small that it has a big function.you dnt even recognize.
Wont print
Hi, yes I have had problems with these HP printers B4 and it was in fact the INK... strange as it may seem, Ya gota have them "Full" as it were. I have "Fooled" it sometimes by removing the cartridge(s) and powering on & of re-inserting them. But eventually always ended up paying thru the nose for the cartridges. I saved a bit by using refilled ones, but I now use printers that have cheap single color ones, eg: Canon i550
HP deskjet 920 c crooked feed
there should be a rear panel to remove and check to see if there is any small peices of paper caught in the rollers or obstructing one side, if not the grip on the the roller is worn or the paper aligning bar is open too wide and allowing the paper to tilt.
This is a more common problem with shiny surfaced paper, so try a more matt rougher quality paper.
Hp rinter
*Maybe*. All depends on how old your inkjet printer is and what's accessible.
Turn the printer off to park the print carriage, then unplug the power cord.
Take out the paper, remove the paper trays and the rear door. Using a clean lint-free cloth moistened with an all-purpose cleaner, clean every rubber roller you can reach. Rotate the roller shaft in the direction of paper travel, you may need to "encourage" it a little to rotate it; if you encounter too much resistance or hear a gear jump, stop trying to turn the shaft immediately!
Some of the older DeskJets don't have a rear misfeed door, but do have 2 very large rollers inside that are hard to turn, but can be turned, and need cleaning regularly if you're using the printer a lot.
Dry the rollers, reassemble the printer, add paper and power up.
Let me know if this helps!
LOW INK
Are you using remanufactured cartridges? If so, i would strongly recommend you only use factory HP ones.
It is possible your logic board has gone bad. I've seen this happen to these older model inkjets.
