Hi, I have a HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 1515, and the printer keep making a grinding noise while printing something, does someone knows why?

Turn the printer on, and replace the cartridges if possible. If the carriage moves, but there is still a grinding noise, there may be a paper feed issue. If the carriage will not move, then it is a carriage stall issue.

Hp color laserjet 4700 printing with shadows

If your HP Color LaserJet 4700 is printing with shadows, it could be caused by a few different issues. Here are a few potential causes:
  1. Toner Cartridges: The toner cartridges may be low or empty, causing the shadows to appear. It is recommended to check the toner levels and replace the cartridges if necessary.
  2. Toner Smears: The toner smears on the drum or the fuser can cause shadows to appear on the printouts. Clean the drum and fuser with a lint-free cloth and check if the problem persists.
  3. Fuser Unit: The fuser unit could be malfunctioning and may need to be replaced.
  4. Paper Quality: Using low-quality or damp paper can cause shadows to appear on the printouts. Use high-quality, dry paper for better results.
  5. Printer settings: Some printer settings can also cause shadows to appear, such as toner density or print resolution. Ensure that the settings are set to the recommended level.
  6. Dust or debris: Dust or debris inside the printer can cause shadows, Clean the inside of the printer and check if the problem persists.
It is important to diagnose the specific cause of the problem before attempting to fix it. If you are not comfortable with troubleshooting the problem, it is best to contact HP support or a qualified technician for assistance.

What does Error message 50.2F.00 mean?

The error message "50.2F.00" typically refers to a problem with the fuser assembly in an HP LaserJet 500 color M551 series printer. The fuser assembly is responsible for fusing toner to the paper, and this error can occur if the fuser is not functioning properly. There are a few potential causes for this error message:
  • The fuser may not be properly installed in the printer, in which case you should check to make sure that it is securely seated and connected.
  • The fuser may be defective, which is most likely the case if the error message appears shortly after installing a new fuser. In this case, you may need to replace the fuser with a new one.
  • There may be a problem with the printer's power supply, which is causing the fuser to malfunction. You should check the connections and ensure that the power supply is working properly.
It is also good idea to check for any firmware updates for your printer. Sometimes these updates can fix known issues. The best thing to do is check the printer's manual for troubleshooting or HP Support for specific instructions for your printer. Also you can try to call the manufacturer support.

Ink reset HP J6410

Unfortunately, you cannot reset the HP 74-75 ink cartridge ink level monitoring feature once they are empty (either refilled, remanufactured or compatible ink cartridges)...however print operations are still permitted. Watch this 'Low Ink Warning video' for all printer models which use the HP 74-75 ink cartridges:

HP 74, 75, 74XL, 75XL Cartridge Refills - Solving Errors & Warnings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5ISTGyScWU

Diagnostic Tap 41 Test (verifies electrical health of ink cartridges): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fE-IM4AVMc

NOTE: To access the diagnostics menu on the HP Officejet J5700 or J6400 series printers, select * and # keys simultaneously and enter 124 (or 123). From there you can access the Reports Menu, 'print-mech tap test and run the diagnostic code=41 test (see video above for reference) - this will tell you the exact health of your ink cartridges. To run it I think you'll need to access via '124' access code for the HP OJ J64xx printer series. For more information, please visit:www.inkjet411.com

Hp laserjet m404 no display

Hi, please ensure that your printer is not overheating from extensive operating first. If so, please it off for 30 minutes before using the printer again. If you have any external usb drives attached to the printer, please remove them, restart the printer via the power button and check the display again. If all else fails, you might need to factory reset your printer to be able to overcome this issue. Thank you.

My hp 4315 all in one works but copier comes out blank

There could be several reasons why the copier is producing blank pages. Here are a few possible causes:
  1. The ink or toner cartridges are empty or low. Make sure you have new cartridges installed, or try replacing the old ones to see if that fixes the issue.
  2. The scanner bed or the glass surface is dirty. Clean the scanner bed and glass surface with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dust or debris.
  3. The paper tray is empty or has malfunctioning paper. Make sure there is paper in the tray and that it is not wrinkled or damaged.
  4. The printer drivers are out of date or corrupt. Try updating the drivers to see if that fixes the issue.
If none of these solutions fix the problem, there may be a more serious issue with the printer that will require professional repair. In that case, you can try contacting HP customer support for further assistance.

Hi, please ensure that all of the cartridges are created by HP and not a 3rd party developer. If not, the HP firmware would stop that one cartridge from printing. Also, you can ensure that the color that's not printing isn't empty. Otherwise, you can check that each color cartridge is properly installed and then restart the printer before moving forward. Thank you.

My HP Photosmart will not print pictures

There are a few possible reasons why your HP Photosmart printer may not be printing pictures, particularly if it is able to print an 8x10 size but not a 4x6 size. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the printer settings: Make sure the printer is set to the correct paper size and print quality settings for the type of pictures you are trying to print. If the settings are not appropriate for the size or quality of the pictures, it can affect the print quality and cause the printer to display an error message.
  2. Check the paper tray: Make sure the paper tray is correctly aligned and has enough paper to accommodate the size of the pictures you are trying to print. If the paper tray is not properly aligned or is empty, it can cause the printer to malfunction.
  3. Check the ink cartridges: Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed and that there is enough ink. If the cartridges are low on ink or not properly installed, it can cause the printer to display an error message or produce poor print quality.
  4. Check for any visible issues: Inspect the printer and its components for any visible issues that may be causing the problem. This can include debris or foreign objects that may have gotten stuck in the printer, or damage to the printer or its components.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and the problem persists, it is recommended to have the printer serviced by a professional. A technician will be able to diagnose the problem and determine the necessary repairs. I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.

My hp designjet 500 new printhead not support and not aliment what can i do?

If your HP Designjet 500 is not detecting the new printhead, there could be a few different issues causing the problem. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the printhead connection: Make sure the printhead is properly connected to the printer. If the printhead is not securely installed, it may not be detected by the printer.
  2. Check the printhead compatibility: Make sure the new printhead is compatible with your HP Designjet 500 printer. Using a printhead that is not compatible with your printer can cause issues with the printhead being detected.
  3. Check the printer firmware: Make sure the printer's firmware is up to date. If the firmware is out of date, it may not be able to recognize the new printhead. You can check for updates by going to the HP Support website and downloading the latest firmware for your printer.
  4. Check for any visible issues: Inspect the printhead and the printer for any visible issues that may be preventing the printhead from being detected. This can include debris or foreign objects that may have gotten stuck in the printhead or printer, or damage to the printhead or printer.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and the problem persists, it may be necessary to have the printer serviced by a professional. A technician will be able to diagnose the problem and determine the necessary repairs.
