Paper is probably stuck under the fuser, follow these instructions to remove the fuser:
Fusing Assembly Removal and Replacement
1. Remove rear cover:
a.) Extend input extender assembly
b.) Remove three screws
c.) Separate the rear panel from the main cover, pulling the lower corners away from the printer first. Then,
insert small flathead screwdriver into the openings at the top upper corners releasing two tabs,
remove cover.
2. Remove EP door assembly
a.) Along the left door hinge there is a flex point, firmly press tab inward to release door.
3. Remove main cover
a.) Remove rear cover
b.) Remove EP door
c.) Remove memory cover
d.) Remove two screws from top of printer
e.) Grasp two lower front corners of printer and pull gently outward, lift cover straight up and off
4. Remove fuser
a.) Remove exit roller (unlock white bushings on either end)
b.) Remove right hand cartridge guide (depress one locking tab and slide forward)
c.) Remove two screws from delivery assembly (fuser cover) and remove
d.) Remove two screws from pressure plate, (metal) unlock two retaining tabs and remove
e.) From right side of printer, remove cable guide, and fuser cable from DC controller
f.) From left side of fuser, remove thermistor cable (white) and remove fuser
