HP LaserJet 8000n Printer Questions & Answers
Hp 8000n is ghosting excess toner on prints. Why?
Perhaps, but first clean up the exposed parts of the printer where the toner may travel before it makes contact with the paper. Also, the fuser may need to be cleaned or replaced. Post your problem directly with HP on the HP website.

Hello,
It sounds like you need to do preventive maintenance ( cleaning of laser unit, copy optics, replace transfer and everything that is in HP PM KIT )

What does the error message "out bin full" means
This error indicates that the sensor that detects when too much paper is stacked in the output bin to allow more paper to exit. This flag sometimes sticks and a quick check is to make sure that nothing has become jammed where the paper exits the printer. Most common cause is the flag getting jammed because someone has remove the paper the wrong way. I have never seen the actual sensor fail.

If you have swapped power outlets, and still have no power, you would most likely start with the replacement of the (LVPS) which is the Low Voltage Power Supply. MFG Part # RG5-1876-000CN
How do I hook up two one PC laptop and one MacBook
Per the attached instruction manual, there should be two or more interfaces for your printer. If it does not have the correct one you need, you can purchase and install that one. It also has an option to network the printer. Based on the "n" on your printer model it probably already has the network option. So you would setup the network parameters on the printer per the manual and your network (IP addressing model). Then you should be able to send jobs to the printer from either the PC or the Mac. You would have to install the appropriate drivers on each machine first.
Here is the manual link for your review. It is in a PDF format, so you would need ADOBE Reader on one of the machines. The Link is:

Troubleshooting error message 79 00FE on LaserJet 8000N
Ok, I am a bit rusty with this printer as its been a while since I have worked on them. If memory serves me right, this error is related to the JetDirect Card. It may have to be replaced. I hope my memory serves me well. As I recall, this was a pain for me to find out as well. HP is usually good, but not always. I had to discover the problem on my own. Also, remove the card and reseat it! This has worked for me in the past as well. Perhaps you have another printer - same model. Remove its card and test it on the erroring printer.
HP LASERJET 8000N
there could be a problem in one of your drum, (4 pCS) to isolate w/c is w/c pls do this:
-print one of each color, M,C,Y,K(black)
- once you have identified that one of each is giving you problem pls replace the affected drum
- IF you printed all colors and still having the same line the problem is in the fuser section most likely the fuser roller or the pressure roller is either dirty or damaged.
-if it is dirty clean with alcohol while it is hot, gently rub (be careful it is hot) or cloth damped with oil will removed sticky toner adhered on its surface
cheers, dont forget to mark this pls
Paper crinkles
This is what I've seen with wrinkled pages in these machines.
Usually only happens with letter size paper.
At some point a leaking toner was used in the machine the excess toner works its way toward the fuser and builds up on the guide where the paper enters the fusing assm.
You can try to clean the toner thats built up or replace the fuser.
Hope this helps
