That is normal. It signals that it's proccessing the print job.

Measure the distance from the first occurrence to the second occurrence of the line. Use millimeters, it's easier.
32mm distance means toner cartridge. Also 37.7mm is also toner.
41mm is one of the fuser rollers
46.3mm is the transfer roller
55.2mm is the paper-pickup assembly
56.5mm is the other fuser roller
76.3mm(3") is also a bad toner cartridge

According to the user manual the triangle lamp blinking is an indication that the error needs user intervention. The possible causes are the ink cartridge door is not closed completely, out of paper, no ink cartridge, or there is a paperjam. To fix these, click on the link below to download the user manual. Hi,
Make sure the cable from your printer is properly connected to the CPU
Make sure it is well recognized.
On start menu, click printer and faxes..
you will see your printer model.(if you said its offline then the image of your printer is blurred...right?)
Now right click on the printer model.. and click the "Use Printer Online"
After that you will see that the image of your printer is clear with the word "ready"
Try to print again.

You could possibly read a lot on HP website about this product or even download manual from there. Try and have a look what they have. HP have good support materials. Good Luck!

OK, Go START>>RUN>>service.msc (enter) Now when the services window comes up, scroll down to Print Spooler, and select, ENABLE and Load at boot time. save and reboot.

Open printer Icon on task bar at lower left. Select "cancel print jobs".

It could faulty tone cartridge or the scanner unit is faulty.
I would say test the toner in a similar printer if you can.
If you get the same result then your toner is faulty

This seems to be a problem on these printers. I have five of them on my network and I had to use a generic driver to make them stop shutting off the print spooler on my print server. I use the LaserJet III driver which is a good HP generic driver. I found it to be best to uninstall all of the 1022 software and install the printer using the above driver that is part of the windows operation system therefore there is no need to download one.
