Sandra, Do you see the HP LaserJet 1160 printer listed in Start (Windows Icon) > Control Panel > "Hardware and Sound/Printers" (Control Panel Home), or "Printers" (Classic View)?If you do not see the printer listed, run the installation from the CD that came with the printer, or you can download the drivers from the HP support site at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=410620&lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=410618&taskId=135note: make sure you choose the correct version (either Windows Vista, or Windows Vista x64). If you do see the printer listed in control panel/printers, then: Are you able to successfully print a test page? (Right-click the HP LasterJet 1160 and select "Properties", then select "Print Test Page").If not, does the test page show up in the printer queue? Hi naseeh83: Here your problem. Fuser error. The fuser has a malfunction. Try these steps. 1. Unplug the printer for at least ten minutes. 2. Verify that the fuser connector and thermistor connector are both firmly seated in the ECU 3. Perform a heating element resistance check. 4. If the resistance readings are correct, but the error persists, replace the fuser. You may have to call a certified HP technician to repair this printer. Hope this helps.

Solution for your printer problem
First of all have you checked, If the printer is set as default.
Option2 usb printer cable maybe faulty. As it can slow down the
comunication from the computer to printer.Try that first. If no joy then try download another driver from the internet. www.printcountry.com This is the link for your printer/driver if you need to use.
