Select the printer instead of printing to Onenote

go to start->devices and printers (or control panel then devices and printers) right click on the printer then click on "set as default printer".

Make sure you have the printer selected when printing the file not the "Print to OneNote" option.

Hi dude..i am not a HP expert but generally you can retrieve a fax even ink runs out IF your machine has Fax Reception Memory feature. I don't know your machine is latest model or not. But, I believe the latest model has this useful feature. So, check it out first. Thanks.

Apparently HP meant left cartridge when looking from the back of the printer. I replaced that one (B/W), problem went away. Sort of dumb...

Hi,If you dont want to use fax feature, you can simple remove the phone cable connected to your Printer and the message goes off.You are getting this message due to faulty phone line or the same phone like being used in another room or deviceRegards,Sean

Here is a link to the user guide.. This should provide info on how to program the fax to answer o n the second ring. I don't know however how you have 2 numbers assigned to one line?

Change the resolution or quality settings. Slow speed printing usually means its set to high resolution which is not needed for most print jobs.

Turn on the HP printer. Lift the printer cartridge door, which is the right side of the printer, revealing the black and color ink cartridges. Push down on the front of the cartridge you need to replace and pull it out slowly. Unwrap the new ink cartridge and peel off the tape. Insert it at an angle into the cartridge slot. Apply gentle pressure until it clicks into place. Close the cartridge door and press "OK" when prompted.References:

You might be selected print in grey scale only.
Go the printer properties> printing preferences >color remove check mark then try it..

If you have trouble with the ethernet connection , try USB . If it also fails there , your device is defective or you have a driver issue . Make sure you have installed the correct driver and prefer the download file to the cd version :
