Making funny clicking noise and hour glass showing that it is processing won't go away
As a follow-on to solution 2 (thanks for the post BTW), I found the problem is indeed the light bar, but rather than breaking into the printer to move and lube the light bar, I found success by simply shaking the printer with the left side down, to move the light bar along it's track to the left. (the shaking motion is sort of like getting ketchup out of a bottle).
This worked better for me than dismantling the printer with a special screw driver and seemingly needing to break the panel to get to the third screw. Hopefully this helps.

The glass of scanner hp2510 is broken how can i remove it and fix it
I can tell you how to get access to the glass panel, although I cannot remember how easy it is to remove the glass itself:First remove the lifting lid by unplugging the jack plug connector at the back, then riase the lid to vertical position, pull the plastic tab in the middle of the hige towards you and wiggle the lid upwards so that it comes out. Then pull off the keypad label plate, then gently pull off the control panel (which has two ribbon cables attached) by sliding it forwards from back to front of the printer. Disconnect the ribbon cables from the control panel (they pull off) and thread the cables back through their retaining clips on the top cover. Now you can remove all FIVE retaining screws (Torx T-10 driver required) from the top cover and lift it off, leaving the ribbon cables in situ. You can then turn the top cover over and work on removing/ repairing the glass. I would say it s not worth bonding - just get a new piece of glass.
HP psc 2510 repeatadly tells me to print alignment
take out the cartrdiges from the printer and then clean the contact points on the back of the cartridges. then unplug the power cable from the back of the printer and then press and hold down the color copy and cancel button at the same time. and then plug back the power cable back into the printer. try to power on the printer and insert the cartridges one by one into the printer.
