Reinstall the printer using PCL 5 drivers. That should fix your problem.

It sounds like your paper pickup roller is worn down and can't grip the paper to pick it up. This roller is located on the bottom of the printer. Pull the paper tray all the way out and turn the printer over and you can see it as seen in the attached picture.This roller comes in a kit along with the separation pad and the charge roller. When you replace one its best to replace them all. Faded printing is usuallly caused by an empty or defective toner cartridge. If the toner is new and the printer was working fine before the toner change then you might have a defective cartridge, or you may not have removed the tape strip from the cartridge when you installed it.

1. Verify that the print cartridge is present and that the print-cartridge door is closed correctly.
2. Verify that media is present in the input tray.
3. Clear any jams and perform paper-path functional checks.

First thing to do is reload the drivers from hp.com. Sounds like the PCL drivers are hosed.

1st: turn off your printer, wait 5 minutes, turn on again. Try to print again and see if the problem is solved. If this doesn't work:
2nd: de-install your printer from your computer, download the latest driver for your operating system, install your printer again. And if this doesn't work, download the latest HP Laserjet generic driver and install it again.
You can find the drivers on the support page from HP, searching for the model printer that you have and select the driver for your operating system (windows xp, vista, 7..)

its the feader sensor , a plastic pease that work as a trigger for the sensor when closing the tray either stuck or (broken -very rear) , try to find it and release it .

This appears to be an issue with the driver.
Before replacing the driver though, make sure it isn't just the document itself that is the issue.
Try printing several different documents. If all other documents print, there's a problem with the document itself.
If several, or all documents from multiple sources (not all generated from the same program) then it's time to completely uninstall the driver, and then go to www.hp.com and get the driver specifically for your operating system for that printer and install it.
Remember to reboot between the uninstall and the reinstall.

If this yields the same results, then install an HP laserjet 4 driver on the same port as the currently installed driver using the add printer function in control panel/printers.
print the offending documents through this driver by selecting the HP Laserjet 4 as the printer when printing. If this solves the issue, make the laserjet4 the default driver.

Hello, your printer has what is called feeding roller and separation pad. In your case the separation pad has worn and it must be replaced. If you do not have the knowledge to do it call for a tech of take the printer to an IT service.

Go here and download the North American full printing solution. This is exactly the same as having the CD and will self install the printer when it runs, just make sure the printer is disconnected when you start the install. Or you can just download the driver and then point the install to the driver file.

check your takeup roller if the rubber is cracked and oxidized get a replacement as it probably not able to grab your paper

Go to printers, right-click your HP 1320 and choose "Continue".
The printer should change the status to ready after printing the remaining print job in memory.
