Hi, try updating your printer drivers:

Create a new folder on your desktop and name it newhpdrivers(substitute your manufacturer in new name). Un-intall printer and printer software completely. Go to manufacturers website and navigate to their drivers/downloads or support menu. Select your model, choose the relevant software and download to the new folder you created on your desktop. Power down your computer. Reconnect the printer to the computer and turn printer on. Power on pc. Windows will detect new hardware and ask if you have the manufacturers install cd or a location to check for install files. Direct the wizard to your new software, follow the rest of the setup instructions and your done

ok this is a pretty easy thing to fix so what you want to do is try to find the printer and get to its settings. then once there find the master language try to change that if this didnt work then try talking with hp

Your ink cartridge (s) is dried up, even some new ones are dried up, even tho' they're sealed.

Some self-tests don't use black.

try getting a new printer and replace it ask them why it has problems

It's hard to imagine software being the problem, however, I never say never.

Have you tried the BOLD [B] tab in word?

Right click on the printer in control panel, select properties, advanced, and see if there's a contrast adjustment or print quality, select BEST

USUALLY this only works with laser printers, but it might be there.

Open the HP Tool Kit and select ALIGN CARTRIGES, and CLEAN PEN, if it's there.

Click start, run, type in wordpad, press enter, type something and print.

Please let me know. I'm stumped!

I believe if you go to HP.com and do their auto-select printer routine it should delete the old driver for you.

Bought a new printer.

This can be caused by an encoder strip that has become fogged with ink aerosol.

To clean the encoder strip follow the instructions here.

Pay careful attention to the cautions as the encoder strip is fragile and can be easily damaged if mishandled.

This light will blink when the top cover is not properly shut, so the easy first step is to check that the cover is closed properly.

If that does not help, then one of the cartridges is not being recognized. See here to determine which cartrdge is the issue.

You can then remove and reseat that cartridge, also try cleaning the cartridge contacts as shown here.

What a great solution! Throw it in the landfill. What the hell- we wont be around when the next generation is up to their necks in waste. Or we can ship it all to the poor countries- that have no recourse. THEY can wade around in our trash! That's right buy more plastic then just throw it away. Don't even attempt to fix it or keep it running. Just call it "modern world" and that makes it OK-even a good thing to do.
Has anyone done the math on this? If 5 million people in the US throw a printer into the landfill every three years, what do we have? In 10 short years we have 15 MILLION printers, let alone computers, faxes, scanners, phones, cell phones. Maybe you could at least support the IDEA of keeping something for more than 3 years.

Remove the back cover and look if there's any paper stuck in the feeding mechanism.

Have you set your paper size in the printer and adobe or whatever you use to A4, it sounds like you have A5 set as default print size. Apologies if this is not the case but it won't be the first time a printer has changed settings.

Hello. First of all I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I recently bought a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3515 printer. The printer works fine (prints, scans and copies). There is only one problem with it. It returns me an error when I'm shutting it off. This happens very often but not always, it is kinda annoying. The error is displayed as: ERROR CODE 0X02B7C2ED SM_MODULE C (the error is also shown on the image). I tried to Google the problem but without effects. I don't know what could be the problem. Can someone help me please, because I have no idea what could be the issue. Thanks for any replays.
