Window media cannot play because there is sound

I wish, I can know the operating system installed on your computer and the exact error message that you are seeing on the screen. Anyway, try this.. first download and install this.. (Microsoft uaa bus on high definition audio driver). Open the link and click "Download" button and save it. After it's installed, download anyone of these..(select your Operating System):
1. Realtek High Definition audio driver for windows xp and previous windows versions.

2. Realtek High Definition Audion Driver for Windows Vista 32

Download and install the drivers, restart your computer and try playing songs/movies etc.. using the Windows Media Player. It'll work fine.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I wanna know what video cards will fit my DC7600

Your PC has a PCI-e x16 slot available for upgrading graphics cacapabilities. Any PCI-e x16 that is not double-slot wide or that requires a pcie power plug should work. If you take a look at the images at NewEgg.com you can see which NVIDIA (Geforce) and Radeon based cards are double wide. Your PC just doesn't have the physical space for a fit. For Radeon cards 3000 series and below with the exception of not higher that an HD 3650 in the 3000 series. For NVIDIA based cards in the 7000 series and lower with a couple of exceptions. 8000 series: nothing higher than an 8600 model. 9000 series is a no go.Your PSU is not capable of running the cards I mentioned as exceptions. Your PSU is less than 300W. Powerful video cards require more wattage and extra PCIe specific power connectors. Read the specs to ensure that the video card you are considering does not have any additional power requirements. You can link to the cards you are considering and we will let you know if the will fit and work and why they will not if they are exceptions.

Hp dc7600 S speker does not work

if you mean speaker does not work

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers

click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the

(appropriate speakers) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the selected correct speaker settings there

click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it

if his does not fix the problem

click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar for any further volume control settings you will need to right click on the speaker volume icon system select adjust volume

click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers select the appropriate speakers

from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check

the speaker plug/outlets is usually at the back of the computer or if its a laptop on the side

you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good with no dust as dust causes static electricity

clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line or use a can of compressed air specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer

if its a desktop swap the speakers around if one still does not work its either a faulty speaker or the speaker connection

hope this helps

When shutting down there is a click then starts to

Open the case and look for a security chip with a clicker on it, it clicks up and down when the case is opened, sometimes that causes it to reboot, click it down put the lid on and try again.

Otherwise it could be a bios setting (less likely) - check in the bios for the power off settings. Let us know how you get on and be careful in the bios!
