This worked! My dishwaser was properly draining, but this time it stucked with the blinking glass light. Powering off/on, didn't work.
I tipped it forward and a little bit of water fell off of the bottom front panel. Pluged it back and it now works! Thanks!

Is the outlet controlled by a switch? Is the power button turned on? Is the door closed shut. If you've been running this dishwasher for a year means you know how to use it. I think a malfunction of some kind. Usually an error code will appear but no power.... No code

Turn off the mains power overnight. Run two cycles with no detergent. You can put lightly soiled items in and they should still come out reasonably clean.

You can normally access through the base or from the back panel.

If it just has no water, then it would be a fairly safe bet it was the water inlet valve. If it is completely unresponsive, that points to either a power issue or a control board issue. You will need a Service Technician, and you may be better off with a new one depending on the age of it. The reviews put it at about 3 years old and $429. I would check the water solenoid firstly as the sensor detects water level and if the sensor thought the level was too high, it would command the outlet pump on until the level went down.

we have no way of knowing as remote testing has not been developed yet

When the dishwasher is new, it’s harder to open. There is no button, just the handle. Pull hard and it will open.

Ask a Danby dealer or an appliance parts supplier.

It go’s in the soap dispenser located inside the door. Be sure to close it’s lid after adding detergent.

Perhaps it has an electric lock that locks the door whilst it is running to prevent you getting scalded by the hot water whilst it is running. If so, perhaps that latch is broken, or the control is broken, causing this. Try disconnecting the electricity and see if it will then open. God bless your efforts,
