There were also 2 types of KX-TDA0104. I am not sure what those exact differences were, it may have to do with system voltage differences in the systems. Dubai does follow some North American protocols the balance being EU protocols. And Singapore uses Asian protocols from what I have seen.

Just a shot in the dark. Is there possibly a reset button somewhere on the back of the set? Otherwise, follow the power cord into the back of the set. Usually the first thing you'll come to is the power supply.

Guessing the dhlc8 is in the optoinal card slot which doesn't work with that card. You can only put the optional base 3 card in that slot which handles some of the auxilary equipment.
