Coffee spills out around nozzles

Hi kimneup,

When that happens, your brew filters are blocked. You'll have to remove the stainless steel filter and clean it or replace it if it doesn't clean up good. Remove the screws from the brew unit to get to it.

I hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate your vote. Thanks,

It say brew unit missing

The brew unit missing switch is inside the slot at top back wall where the top of the brew unit puts an angled piece of plastic into the slot. The piece is a slope like a nose so it gently pushes the switch as you instert the brew unit. See if the brew unit reaches this slot on the wall. If it doesn't the brew unit most likely jammed up and was removed while the gears were not in home position. Now the gears are not allowing the brew unit to return fully inserted.

If you're handy you can call Miele tech support and request they walk you through steps to diagnose this. They will discover if the gear is out of home position or not. If it is not and the switch is in contact with the brew unit you may be in luck, the swith is cheap. But if the electronics no longer reads the switch signal it's 800 bucks to replace. Good luck!

Hi
Change your language in the menu. That will tell you what is wrong.
Push and hold the menu button. When it changes in the window, use the up or down arrow button to move the asterisk (*) until you come to a window that has something like "lingua, or spreka", and then push the menu button again. Use the up arrow to scroll to "English". When you have the asterisk (*) in front of English, push the menu button again. You have selected English and then you can push the escape button to exit. Some machines have exit in the scroll bar, so it depends on your machine.

May be there is a water leak and the water looks like oil? Specially if the water is mixing with coffee grounds.
Try removing the brew group and look around inside the machine to see if there is any water.

CVA 620 My grinder makes faltering

Possible that there is WEARING OFF of the bushes in the shaft of the grinder jar section or to the motor section. If you can try to hold the spindle and move , there must not be any play of the shaft nor it must be TOO free. If so the bushes must be reset with the same type.
Also check if the motor bush/bearings are faulty or a drop of light grease or oil might give a temporary relief.

Unplugged the machine without turning

There is no user servicable fuses on that machine. There is a door switch on the top right behind the door. It will not turn on unless the door is fully closed. Please try it in a different receptacle and make sure you have power. If the outlet that it is plugged into is GFCI or AFCI protected, it may have tripped when you plugged it back in.
