Miele H147MB Convection/Microwave Oven Questions & Answers
Microwave turns on but wont heat
The magnetron (the part that heats the food) may be bad or the circuitry to the magnetron may have burned out. Basically my advice is that if you have no electrical expertise, it isn't worth fixing. The magnetron if bad, costs almost as much as a new microwave. If you open it up (make sure it has been unplugged for a few hours and don't seen any obvious burnt parts (including a fuse and the diodes), then most likely the magnetron is done and a new microwave is the way to go.
Let me know how this works out for you.

My miele microwave is blowing the house fuse once
Their is a live wire which contact to the metal body so it contact to the earth cable. This can be by a loose wire, a burn heating element or a burn motor. All the above can lead to direct contact of alive cable mean power cable to earth so the house fuse which is the earth protector is driping off.
Your oven definiatly need to be open and check by and electrician.
Good luck
Fuse breaks when microwave is switched on
you will probably find that the fuse blowing is due to door switch adjustments, most unit have 3 switches 2 on the door catches and one that is crowbar protection. the 2 door catch switches are normally closed with the door open and the crowbar is the opposite. if they do not change at the correct time when closing nthe door the fuse blows
Miele M 625 EG Microwave Oven
A malfunctioning control panel or membrane can cause erratic behavior in your microwave oven. If the control panel is not registering the start command correctly, it may interrupt the cooking cycle. Try cleaning your membrane and control panel with a soft and damp cloth to remove the dust.
If cleaning doesn't resolve this issue, try resetting the microwave oven by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, and then plugging it back in.
The microwave may not generate the required heat to cook the food properly if the magnetron or high voltage capacitor is defective. This could lead to the timer counting down without any heating action.
My Miele H6800BM microwave stopped heating. Over and everything works fine but when we switch to microwave function and set time, it starts running but it doesn't heat.
If your Miele H6800BM microwave is no longer heating food and there is a noticeable change in its operation, it is likely that there is a malfunction or component failure specifically related to the microwave function. Here are a few potential causes for the issue:
1. Magnetron Failure: The magnetron is a crucial component responsible for generating the microwave energy that heats the food. If the magnetron has malfunctioned or failed, it can result in the microwave not heating.
2. High Voltage Diode Failure: The high voltage diode in the microwave circuitry is responsible for converting the AC power supply to the high voltage DC power required by the magnetron. A faulty diode can prevent the magnetron from receiving the necessary power and thus lead to no heating.
3. Faulty Capacitor: Capacitors in the microwave circuit store and release electrical energy. If a capacitor associated with the microwave function is defective, it can prevent the microwave from generating the required power for heating.
Given the symptoms you described, it is likely that there is an issue with one of these components. It is recommended to contact a qualified technician or the manufacturer's customer support to inspect and repair the microwave. They will have the expertise and necessary equipment to diagnose and resolve the specific problem with your Miele H6800BM microwave.
How to remove a Miele M6 16G microwave from the built-in housing
To remove a Miele M6 16G microwave from the built-in housing, you will need to follow these steps:
- Disconnect the power: Before you begin, make sure to unplug the microwave or turn off the power at the circuit breaker to ensure your safety.
- Remove the mounting screws: Look for the screws that secure the microwave to the built-in housing and remove them using a screwdriver. There may be screws on the top, bottom, and sides of the microwave.
- Slide the microwave out: Once the mounting screws have been removed, you should be able to slide the microwave out of the built-in housing. Be careful not to damage the surrounding cabinetry or the microwave itself as you remove it.
- Disconnect the electrical and venting connections: If the microwave is hardwired into your electrical system, you will need to disconnect the electrical wiring before removing it. You may also need to disconnect any venting connections.
- Remove the microwave: Once all of the connections have been disconnected, you should be able to lift the microwave out of the built-in housing and set it aside.
If you are unsure about any of the steps involved in removing the microwave, it is recommended that you consult the owner's manual or a qualified technician for assistance.
