Spilled liquid on laptop- Turned off. Dried out.
I have worked on many laptops and all I can tell you is to search online for a service manual. Or even going to the manufacturers web site and seeing if they have a manual, which im sure they do.
I kill goats for Satan !!!!
Good luck my friend.

Can't see the screen
Hello tr_trucking,
Have you tried pressing the fn+F6 keys together ? That works on certain types of laptops. If you are using another type of computer it would be helpful to say what type of computer it is.
If this solution is helpful please click 'YES' by 'Was this helpful?' below.
Have a great day,

I can hardly see the screen as it is so faded
Laptops have a variable light output. There should be a Function (FN) key and then somewhere on the keys a sun with an UP and DOWN arrow. Press and hold FN and press that UP a few times and the "backlight" should go brighter.

Panasonic CF 51 keeps shutting down
At what point does it shut down? Normally thats caused by heat and/or could be viruses. I would blow out all the ports with compressed air. Does it get into windows before it shuts down?

Wireless connectivity
possible reasons that it is "off"
Physical switch on outside of case that has a turn on and turn off function. Make sure this is turned on.
Go to network places and find the connection that says wireless (or something similiar), it should say Enabled, if not then enable it.
