Washing machine won't stop filling

Hello Marty, there are only two possible reasons for your trouble.

If your washer is overfilling, check these:

Water-inlet valve
Water-level switch
Water-inlet valve A defect in the water-inlet valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off completely when the electricity has been turned off to it. If this occurs, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub. In time, the water may accumulate substantially. If this happens, you need to replace the valve.

Water-level switch A defect--or an obstruction--in the water-level switch may mean that it can't tell the water to shut off. So the machine overflows. This switch senses the water level in the clothes tub. It's usually a diaphragm device with a small, clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level in the tub increases, the pressure on the air in the tube increases. When the pressure reaches a certain level, it activates the switch, shuts off the water, and signals the timer to begin the agitate cycle. You can either clear any obstruction in the tube or replace the water-level switch.

Neff washing machine - barrel doesnt spin

I would recommend it. Otherwise they will have to run new wires from control module all the way down to the motor. I would get my money back since they didn't replace the right piece.

Spinning

The reason why it aint spinning is because it is not draining. All new washing machines have what you call a pressure switch that can tell if water is present in the machine.. if present it will not spin.

your problem is either you have a blockage in your filter (5 min job) or you drain pump is not working properly

hope this helps merry christmas

Detergent & Conditioner Drawer

Perhaps it needs to be thoroughly cleaned out first - sometimes the gloopy mess collects and blocks the outlet hole.

Neff W4380X1 -drum does not turn

hi Of all washing machine parts, the water pump probably takes the most punishment, because it is constantly in use. When the pump fails, you can hear or see the trouble: a loud rumbling inside the machine, or a failure of the water to drain out of the tub. In most cases, motor malfunctions should be handled by a professional; do not try to fix the motor yourself. If the motor is a universal motor, however, you can change worn carbon brushes when sparking occurs, as detailed in the how to repair appliances article. To save the expense of a service call, remove the motor from the washer and take it to a professional service person, then reinstall the repaired or new motor yourself. To access the motor, remove the back panel of the washer. The motor is mounted on an adjustable bracket.

There is one other motor problem you can repair yourself. Washer motors usually have an overload protector clipped to the motor. When this component fails, the motor won't work. Before you take the motor in for service, test the protector with a VOM set to the RX1 scale. Disconnect one electrical lead wire to the protector and clip one probe of the VOM to each protector terminal. The meter should read zero. If the needle jumps higher, the protector is faulty and should be replaced. Pry up the protector with a screwdriver and replace it with a new one made specifically for the motor or washer. Connect the new protector the same way the old one was connected.

Neff dishwasher tap light flashing -

If your Neff dishwasher is showing a flashing tap light, it typically indicates a water supply issue. Here's a short guide to address the problem:
  1. Check Water Supply: Ensure the water supply valve under the sink is fully open.
  2. Filter & Hose: Examine the inlet hose for kinks or bends and the filter at the connection point for blockages.
  3. Water Pressure: Low water pressure can also trigger this warning. Verify that your home's water pressure is adequate.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, there might be a more complex problem, such as a faulty water inlet valve or a problem with the dishwasher's control system. In such cases, consulting the user manual or contacting Neff customer support for further assistance would be advisable.

Neff error code E5123. What is it

I am not sure if this applies to your model as I translated it from German..... Error E5121, E5122 or E5123: Problem with the pump On FullSteam steam ovens, the display may show error codes E5121, E5122 or E5123. These indicate that either the pump or the water hose are clogged or calcified. To rectify the fault, proceed as follows: 1. Descale the device according to the operating instructions. 2. Use the special liquid descaler from our NEFF shop for this. 3. If error E5122 occurs when rinsing after descaling, it can be rectified by waiting about 30 minutes after inserting the tank with fresh water before closing the shutter and thus continuing the rinsing process. The pump then has time to cool down. It is particularly stressed during descaling and can cause the malfunction if it heats up.
