if its a single oven yes, double oven or oven with fast heat or pyrolytic setting no.

It might be that the breaker is overloaded and it's no longer supporting the load of all the appliances together.If you do not want to change your breaker you can still use your oven by switching off other appliances that is running while you are using the oven

Probably the ring element. If the clock is flashing zeros or 8's the bottom oven will not operate but the top will. Make sure the clock is set (doesn't have to be the correct time, just not flashing) If the fan and light then work but no heat, defo the element part no 499003

Check the bulbs in main oven. Bulb blows and takes out circuit board. A new circuit board will set you back £250 to £300. It can possibly be repaired if you can solder. need to take out the board behind the clock and find the blown track. if you can solder a jumper across it you can get it working again and it will cost you nothing. I had to do this to mine and it has been working for last 3 years.

It does not really matter which wire goes where. The red one would be live and the blue would be neutral, but on an oven element they could go on either terminal. Just make sure that everything is turned off when working on the oven etc.

yes i know exactly whats wrong, one of your high accuracy temp sensors will have gone. these tell the thermo what the sides & top of the oven temp is. unscrew the oven from the base unit & pull it out, take the top off & you'll see them little round cylinder looking things with 2 wires coming off them(see link for pic) there screwed to the shell. the one that will have gone will no doubt have burn wires, or connections. their sometimes called temp switch sensors http://www.bi-metal-thermostat.com/photo/pl1619154-ip00_ceramic_bi_metal_thermostat_temperature_controller_for_micro_wave_oven.jpg

you need to check size of breaker the oven is wired too if this is to small it will trip also cable size
