Sony VAIO PCG-K23 Notebook - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do i unlock a sony vaio notebook. I forgot my password and dont have those old documents!!
This can be usually done by a Windows Password Tool. However, if you have already activated the Administrator on the PC (Any Brand) with Windows 7. You can try the following steps.
Generally, the logon does not have the administration account listed. So one may want to go restart the machine to the Command Prompt to enable the Command Prompt.
Restart the Machine --> Tap F8 (Advanced boot options) --> Go Save Mode With Command Prompt --> Command Prompt Window appears. Type :
1: net user Administrator /active: yes
2: shutdown -r
This would restart the machine and the Windows Logon will have the Administration account. You can login to the Administration Account and then change the password on the other account.
Also, If you do not have the the admin account activated, then you may want to get windows key from
http://www.lostwindowspassword.com/windows-password-recovery.htm
(This is a paid software).
You may get several free software's online as well.

Help please
Try booting up into Windows Safe Mode (F8 during bootup or watch for an option for Boot Menu) and see if you're having the same issue.

Hi there,
If you plug in your AC adapter to your laptop to charge the battery and get the "plugged in, not charging" message then try the following solution:
Disconnect AC adapter
Shutdown laptop
Remove laptop battery
Connect AC adapter
Power on laptop
Click the Startup Menu
Type Device and select Device Manager
Under the Batteries category, right-click Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery and select Uninstall.
Shutdown laptop
Disconnect AC adapter
Insert laptop battery
Connect AC adapter
Power on laptop
If you follow these steps and find that your laptop still does not charge then consider replacing the laptop battery itself.
Hope to have been of assistance,
Thanks.

MY PC MAKES CONTINOUS SOUND
Sounds like it could be that the cooling fans needs to be replaced. Contact a laptop computer technician.
Take Care!

This is most likely an LCD screen fault. You could check the LVDS cable that connects the motherboard to the screen also.
