This normally happens when you are trying to connect to the internet from the "Network Update", you can avoid this and connect to the internet from the "internet browser".

Sounds like the laser might be going bad. Take a can of air and gently blow some air into the drive. That should remove any specs of dust or dirt off of the laser.

Then go ahead and try different discs in the drive. If it still doesn't read anything then the laser is bad so you can either replace the laser if you fell comfortable opening up the dvd drive or you can just replace the whole drive. If your system is under warranty you can call Sony and have them fix the system or if its not under warranty then you can go ahead and look for a laser or the drives for the PS3 on Ebay.

reset it by taking out the battery and putting it back in the hold l and r while you turn it on hope that helps

it might be that you are too far away from the router and get a low signal
get closer to the router or it could be that the router has security settings and you need a wep or wap key, if your the owner of the router key should be on the router

Have you upgraded the firmware? if not go to sony's site and download the firmware and from there load it to your memory stick and update. this should resolve the issue. you can also update the system if you are wireless and can get internet access on your psp. if this does not work get in toutch with sony thay will advise you wether it can be fixed or if you need a new on..

if its reading the umd from the disc it maybe that the discs have dirt on them or its just due to go sorry

its because it is homebrew meaning it's intended for use with cfw psps only

What kind of charging issues? Does the light stay on the PSP when charging or your battery not keep a charge? If the battery does not keep a charge - you need a new battery, and if not you need to try and new wire.

either the ribbon cable is loose or the battery will need to be replaced.

Chances are that this is physical damage which will be visible to the eye. Look for areas on the printed board that are cracked and look at the solder joints for detachments from it, or lose joints. Pay close attention to where screws hold things in place.

if its broke, theres nothing you can really do. but if you still want to play games on it, install custom firmware,and download games from the internet, or use another psp to copy them. to get custom firmware on psp, go here and follow instructions: http://pspcustomfirmware.com/ and to download games, i advise torrents,go to thepiratebay.org and download using utorrent(google it). the process is easy, just follow the instructions.

you need to reinstall the firmware of your psp using pandora battery and magic memory stick

Some of the computers can not be connected with the psp,sorry.You can try to connect your psp with another computer

Try removing your memory stick then put it back. If that doesn't work, remove the memory stick again and then hold the power button up for 10-15 seconds. More or less that would do the trick.
