Kenmore stackable washer dryer doesn't cycle (doesn't advance to water fill or wash, drain, rinse, spin) (not spinning, draining, filling?) After the video, we learned it was the points in the timer. It wasn't the black "electrical plug", being plugged into. Get your serial number and google Kenmore timer and you can order a replacement timer. Even if you still have someone come out, you've still saved a bunch!.......ps....I had a viewer make a good point!; I obviously didn't have any issues, but obviously be careful with electrical panel and any loose wires!
If your Kenmore washing machine is having trouble filling and then drains without spinning during the rinse cycle, there could be a few possible causes.
Water supply issue: The first thing to check is the water supply. Make sure the water supply valves are fully open and there are no kinks or blockages in the hoses. Also, check the water pressure and make sure it meets the manufacturer's requirements.
Faulty water inlet valve: The water inlet valve is responsible for controlling the water flow into the washing machine. If the valve is faulty, it may not be allowing enough water to enter the machine, which can cause the filling to take a long time. It could also be stuck in the drain position, causing the machine to drain instead of filling. You may need to replace the water inlet valve.
Clogged filter screens: If the filter screens in the water inlet valve are clogged with debris or hard water deposits, it can restrict water flow and cause the machine to fill slowly or not at all. Try cleaning the filter screens to see if this improves the water flow.
Faulty pressure switch: The pressure switch monitors the water level in the washing machine and tells the control board when to start and stop the filling and draining cycles. If the pressure switch is faulty, it may not be sending the correct signals to the control board, which can cause issues with the filling and draining cycles.
If you have checked the water supply and filter screens and they appear to be working correctly, it may be necessary to replace the water inlet valve or pressure switch. If you are not comfortable performing these repairs yourself, it may be best to contact a qualified appliance repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

If your Kenmore 500 washing machine is filling with water but the water won't shut off, it could be caused by a few different issues. Here are a few things to check:
Water inlet valve: The water inlet valve is responsible for controlling the flow of water into the washing machine. If the valve is faulty or stuck open, it may cause the water to continue flowing even after the machine is full.
Water level switch: The water level switch is responsible for detecting the level of water in the machine and shutting off the water when the machine is full. If the switch is faulty or not functioning properly, it may cause the water to continue flowing.
Wiring issue: There may be a problem with the wiring or the electrical system that is causing the water inlet valve or the water level switch to malfunction.
To determine the cause of the problem, it is recommended to bring your washing machine to a professional appliance repair service for further diagnosis and repair. They will be able to test the water inlet valve, water level switch, and other components to identify the source of the issue and recommend the appropriate repairs.
If your Kenmore Elite 100 series washing machine is filling with water for the wash cycle but immediately draining without actually washing the clothes, there could be a few potential causes:
1. Faulty or clogged water level pressure switch: The water level pressure switch is responsible for sensing the water level in the tub and signaling the washer to stop filling once the appropriate level is reached. If this switch is faulty or clogged, it may be signaling the washer to drain the water immediately. You may need to replace the pressure switch or clean the hose that connects it to the tub.
2. Clogged drain hose or pump filter: A clogged drain hose or pump filter can prevent the washer from properly draining the water, causing it to immediately drain as soon as it fills. Check for any clogs or blockages in the drain hose or pump filter and clear them if necessary.
3. Broken or faulty drain pump: If the drain pump is broken or not functioning properly, it may not be able to properly drain the water from the washer, causing it to immediately drain. You may need to replace the drain pump if it is broken.
4. Malfunctioning control board: In rare cases, a malfunctioning control board may be causing the washer to immediately drain after filling. If none of the above solutions work, it may be worth having a professional technician inspect and potentially replace the control board.
Try taking off the top. This is held by two spring clips that can be released using a pair of putty knives. Slide the putty knives in from the front of the cabinet on each side so that you push down on the clips. Then you can remove the top. The clips are part 6 on the top and cabinet diagram here: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/2y7mjzejlr-000582/kenmore-11022992103-washer-parts .
I hope this helps. We had a problem with a similar washer and the only way to access the inlet valves was to remove the top, as above.

Fill it and disconnect it from mains power. When you reconnect the power, it will drain out. Then select another program.
or
You pick the longest program with pre-wash. Some models have a pre-wash program where you press a button to make it continue after soak and tumble.
It sounds like there may be an issue with the water inlet valve on your Kenmore washing machine. The water inlet valve controls the flow of water into the washing machine and it could be that it is not opening properly, preventing water from entering the machine. Another possible issue is with the water pressure, the water pressure may be too low.
It could also be a problem with the lid switch, if the lid switch is not functioning properly, the machine will not start. This switch is located inside the washing machine and is activated by the lid. It is designed to prevent the machine from running if the lid is open.
It's also possible that there is a problem with the motor, which is preventing the machine from spinning.
It is recommended that you contact a professional to diagnose and repair the problem as these are complex machine and it's better to be handled by a specialist.
