No video on boot Gateway GM5454e
That could be caused by a number of possibilities. Things change often in the computer world and often requires that updated drivers and software be install to cope with newer types of files.
You do not say what type of video eg, YouTube, DVD, or a video file such as .avi, mvk, mp4 etc.
The first task is to update the Graphics Card & Sound Card (if both are on board get the drivers from the computer manufacturer's site).
I would also update your BIOS and media player.
Once that is done and the problem persists you could try an alternative media player. I recommend VLC or the GOM media players.
Try the above which is cost free.
Other possible causes are low physical memory, lack of free hard drive space or physical damage to the system (Motherboard). If that is the case then it's off to the repair man.
Red light n green light stayong during boot blinking light on video

Acerpower f2 bios beep codes

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA
the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection
and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty ?
one bad lead will end with a computer error a computer needs its connections continue its cycle and have an end to function properly
even something as small as an electrical extension or a faulty fan lead can cause this problem computer needs all of the data and electrical current to travel through every device and to have an end to be able work properly
hope this helps
Operating systems doesn't boot (BIOS beep codes)?
Do you have video going to your monitor? If not the beeps mean you have a bad memory stick in there. If you have video the beeps are the bios telling you that its not set right. More than likely you have it set to run too fast. Go into your bios find where the processor speed is located and choose a lower freq. rate. Its probably set too high for the memory you have.
Please where can I find
As of this moment, there are no drivers for that hardware available for Win7.
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
This is where you
would find it, if it were available. I'm sure there is a way to get it working though. The only thing I can think of is try running the setup for that specific hardware (Xabre200 32MB, ATI Radeon 9200), and if it doesn't work, try running it in xp mode. To run it in xp mode, right click the
setup.exe file, go to
properties, then go to the
compatibility tab, and select
XP SP3 from the drop down menu.
Hope this helps!
Running slow
I particularly like AVG anti virus along with Advanced System Care and Malwarebytes for cleanup. Possibly run a disk defrag as well. And seriously consider upgrading your RAM. Good luck!
Computer boots up but no video display.
If it has onboard video and you've added a video card, sometimes you need to disable the onboard video in the BIOS as it won't send output to both when they are there. I would try a different monitor and eliminate that as a possibility also.
Mpowering technology pop up
Couldn't get rid of mpowereing technology pop up. Tried every solution offered by the internet. Finally I noticed when I powered up my computer the pop up showed up even before the computer loaded anything. I turned off the power to the monitor and powered it back up an viola, pop up gone. The Acer monitor had generated the pop up.

it needs service, and service manuals are hard to find on anything by the likes of ACER.

Acer X1110 data projector Standard throw projector..
did you know most projectors have serious grade protective devices inside??? (tamper and overheating are 2)
did you read owners manual page 32 yet, errors.
LED codes.?
there are 4 LED, and all 4 matter, projector turned (ON) (not one =1)
also in pairs glowing and also if blinking or not, so read page 32
it tells all that.
my guess is overheat failures, even cold, due fan slow or packed in lint after 12 years of use and no service done,.

''e'' button :acer empowering technology
That button can be set using the utility on your programs list
It maybe that you accidentally turned it off or set it to do some other task.
Start there first before re-installing the program that sets it.
That is on one of the cds that should have come with it and can be installed by itself.
