My iron has stopped heating up although lights still flashing and stop to tell me it's heated but still cold

Soak the base in vinegar and water for two hours, shake it and see the junk come out. Repeat with fresh vinegar and water. Leave the iron in the airing cupboard overnight to dry out internal condensation. Next day half fill iron with vinegar and water leave two hours, empty. Plug in it will likely heat up again so put water in the iron and heat it up then unplug use the calc clean and shake it over the sink

How to fix a Bosch Sensixx B7 faulty Spray function.

Thanks for that Tim, very useful indeed. Siri did well, but there were two typos which I fixed 'price', to 'prise' and 'stripey' to 'stripy'. These videos may have been helpful for Sensixx and may have been the ones you watched. Thanks again, much appreciated. .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kTFaHDxkG4

The temperature control dial of my Bosch Sensixx x DA30 iron has become very stiff to rotate. How to make it easier to turn?

If the temperature control dial of your Bosch Sensixx x DA30 iron has become stiff, you can try the following steps to make it easier to turn:
  1. Unplug the iron and let it cool down completely.
  2. Using a soft cloth or sponge, clean the dial and the surrounding area to remove any dust or debris.
  3. Apply a small amount of WD-40 or silicone spray lubricant to the temperature control dial.
  4. Slowly turn the dial back and forth a few times to distribute the lubricant and loosen up any dirt or debris that may have been causing the stiffness.
  5. Wipe away any excess lubricant with a clean, dry cloth.
  6. Plug in the iron and turn it on to make sure the temperature control dial is turning smoothly.
If the stiffness persists or the temperature control dial is still not turning smoothly, you may need to take your iron to a professional for repair or replacement of the dial.

I have a bosch vario comfort series 8 iron and steam release button pushed up inside it and it broke - can this be repaired

It would be more cheaper and easier just to buy a new clothing iron than to try and fix the steam release button on your iron.
