Flashing E-1 means your thermistor, a device attached to your thermostat that detects room temperature is shorted or broken. Replace or rewire thermistor. First turn power off to it. Second, clean air filter or replace if worn. Third, hit the reset button or scroll through menu until you find reset to factory settings. If no button or menu to scroll through unit then keep unplugged for 8 hrs to reset it. After that plug back in and power on and see if the e1 goes away. If not I recommend having it serviced. Also the owners manual is saying no pipe check operation check, try operating in auto addressing mode without pipe check. Sloution to check setting. Check piping connection and setting.

Samsung digital inverter ac c1 error code
The C1 error code on a Samsung digital inverter AC usually indicates a communication error between the indoor and outdoor units. This could be caused by a faulty control board or a wiring issue.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try resetting the unit by turning off the power supply for a few minutes and then turning it back on. If the error persists, you may need to call a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue. They may need to check the wiring connections and replace any faulty parts if necessary.
Samsung AQ12FAN, indoor unit starts on it's own, and stops after a few seconds.
Hi,
It could be that the motor for the device needs to "warm up". Everytime it stops the internal thermostat sees that the target temperature has not been reached so it starts the internal motor again. This happens in a cycle until the motor gets warmed up or the target temperature is reached. This is my hypothesis. So, you might need to get the devices's motor checked out. Thank you.
