Adaptec SCSI 29160 POWERDOMAIN MAC KIT U160 SCSI HD68 LVD EXT CONN (622849) - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
SCSI and IDE HDs, can they work together?
This next solution is viable in win 98, and I don?t see any reason why it shouldn?t work for you too. If you know of anything I?m missing you should consult someone else. The solution is slightly complex, so I hope I can explain it properly:
1. Create a startup disk so you can format and install windows.
2. Set the new HD as master and connect it to Primary IDE.
3. Disconnect the SCSI and remove it.
4. Restart the computer with the disk you created (with the new HD connected).
5. Go to the Bios settings in order to make sure that the computer does recognize the new HD as the primary drive in the first IDE.
6. Now, FDisk the new HD, set the partitions, restart and format it. Install the OS and make sure it is working properly.
7. Insert the SCSI and restart again.
8. At this stage the computer would reboot into the IDE and see the SCSI/ You may have to change something in the OS settings for that, but I don?t know where.
Good luck.

Is there a high-gain antenna
check with your local computer store for this issue.
There should be an antenna on market that is compatible.
I would relocate the router in another location and see if the reception is better. Try to relocate the router away from cell phones or cordless phone and or digital TV's about 20 ft is desirable.

Find the surface area of awooden box whose shape
If this box is a cube, and each side is 15cm long, then each side has an area of 225 square centimeters. Since a cube has 6 sides, your cube's total surface area is 1350 square centimeters. This was a fun change from the normal question... but I don't get what you're trying to do. Thanks for the question.

How do i enable the wireless buttons is it fn
It's different on different laptops, normally it's FN and one of the F keys like F2 (normally it shows a symbol below the main key that looks similar to the wi-fi symbol), some have a slider switch on the front (Sony Viao's), others have a button somewhere on the top (Compaq/HP's).

Add a excel format in tally
Sir,
What to Export ?
Tally has a
facility to export its data to other applications like spreadsheets,
word processing software and other database software. Export of data is
provided mainly for summaries and statement reports like Trial Balance,
Stock Summary, etc. You can export it to another company using Tally
that will import it directly.
How to Export?
You
can export all reports and statements. For this a separate export
button is provided in right hand button bar. To do this go to any
report e.g. day book you to export or any statement e.g. balance sheet.
You would see export button on top right hand side on button bar. Press
it and a screen would pop up with export related options.
The first option
is format of data to be exported namely ASCII, HTML, SDF, and XML.
Which ever application you are importing this data in would decide in
which format you should export the data.
For statements like balance
sheets and trial balance which we use to send and import file in word
and excel etc. HTML format is good. We need minimum formatting in this
format while using it in MS Word and MS Excel.
certain applications accept continuous data where we have defined field length. Then ASCII format is better.
For application which accept SDF and XML format these formats can be chosen.
Give
a file name and the exported file is saved in the parent Tally
directory on your computer. You can now use that file to import its
contents into another program, send it as it is (say if it is HTML
file) to a colleague or view it using a browser.
Thanks
Good Luck

WD2500 external hd from adaptec
Hi,
first unless you're operating the drive at Sub 0 celcius, it has no need to warm up, in fact they prefer cool temps. If it is power cycling on the way to working either the controller board from adaptec or the one on the HDD is failing. You can try moving the HDD into a different shell(available at most computer stores). If it does the same thing in the new shell the board on the drive is the problem.
Although possible to replace it's generally not cost effective to replace both the shell and circuit board as drives are so cheap these days. Wether you try to replace the shell or not I would recommend backing up anything of value that's on the drive as this type of problem is generally indicative of a serious failure in the near future.
