I have a Zanussi 1600
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
This is worth a try-
It is possible that the heater is taking longer than it should to heat the water to the correct temperature. This could be that the element is coated in calcium. I suggest you run the contents of a couple of sachets of proprietary limescale removing powder/fluid through it. The most efficient way is to put the contents in an empty washer and pour a kettle of hot water into the drum then leave overnight. In the morning run just a spin; the water mix will then go through the drain filter and drain motor impeller blades, doing absolutely NO harm whatsoever and possible some good!
You could consider repeating the action ;-0)
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Zanussi Lindo 300..keeps adding water to finishing spin cycle
If your Zanussi Lindo 300 washing machine keeps adding water to the finishing spin cycle, there may be a few possible causes. Here are some steps you can try to diagnose and fix the problem:
- Check the Drain Hose: Make sure that the drain hose is not clogged or kinked, which can prevent the water from draining properly. Try removing any blockages or straightening any kinks in the hose.
- Check the Water Inlet Valve: The water inlet valve may be faulty, which can cause the washer to continue adding water. You can try cleaning the valve or replacing it if it is faulty.
- Check the Pressure Switch: The pressure switch controls the water level in the washer. If it is faulty, it can cause the washer to continue adding water. Try cleaning the switch or replacing it if it is faulty.
- Check the Control Board: The control board is the brain of the washer and controls all the functions. If it is faulty, it can cause the washer to not operate correctly. Try resetting the control board or replacing it if it is faulty.
- Check the Door Lock: The door lock may be faulty, which can cause the washer to not enter the spin cycle and continue adding water. Try cleaning the lock or replacing it if it is faulty.
- Check the Motor: The motor may be faulty, which can cause the washer to not enter the spin cycle and continue adding water. Try resetting the motor or replacing it if it is faulty.
If none of the above steps work, it may be best to contact a professional technician for further diagnosis and repair. They can inspect the washer thoroughly and ensure that it is working correctly and safely.
