Loud grinding noise when machine operating
Hi
The most common cause of this is the main drum bearing seal has failed and water has washed all the grease out of the drum bearing and knackered it. You will hear a loud roaring noise on the fast spin when this has happened. As it's certainly not a 5-minute-job, it's not economic to have this fault repaired on an older machine if you are paying for the repairs yourself. Get a new machine.
It is fairly unusual for balance weights to come loose as they are usually held tight by locking nuts. I've seen it happen but not very often. Sometimes they break off the drum completely. Symptoms of this are loud knocking noises, the machine attempting to leave the building while on a fast spin and a heavy piece of metal/concrete on the floor under the machine!

My INDESIT WIDL 126 S wont empty
The possible problems here are blockages or pump failure. Blockages are
the more likely explanation but pumps can fail. If the washing machine
will not empty the water out you may also not be able to open the door
on some washing machines although these days it's much rarer to have a
pneumatic lock on the door due to cost cutting (if a washing machine
has a pneumatic door safety lock a rubber hose is connected to the door
interlock from the pressure chamber bottle on the tub - water in the
tub forces air up this tube and locks the door, which is released when
the water is pumped out and the air pressure drops).
Hi, my machine starts for a few seconds then stops
if it is a HE kind of machine it is supposed to stop and start a bunch of times at the beginning of the cleaning cycle. Did you wait for a while to see if it ends up running the cleaning cycle?
the new machines are kind of freaky the way they work.

No spin E20 alert on

Plz rate my solution.

ZANUSSI ZJD12191 WASHER/DRYER
Washer dryers often have cold water valves with 3 separate solenoids.
One for the main wash and rinses (which is clearly ok) and one for the
condition rinse (to take the fabric conditioner down) which is probably
ok too, and the 3rd one is for the dryer. It's possible this 3rd
solenoid has failed.
Washer
dryers need on a steady trickle of cold water running into the
condenser chamber to convert the steam into water, which then gets
pumped down the drain.

E20 normally means there is a blockage in the drain tube/filter. I have the same problem, but the drain tube is clear. I have searched the web and found the solution being down to the "plastic bottle-like condensor having debris/fluff in it".
